In a big city known as Hyderabad, there lived a middle class family of two people, the mother and the son. A family of three became two as the father died in a car accident.
The son was always embarrassed of his mother as she only has one eye. He would never want people seeing him with her. One day, the mother goes to a ptm conference at his school where a friend asks him what happen to his mother's eye. He was so embarrassed and humiliated that after they reached home from school, the son straight up said "you know I don't like staying anywhere near you, you're an embarrassment in my life, I wished I had a mother that looks normal, and once I'm done with my education, I'm moving out to a different country so I never have to see your face again!!"
So from there onwards, the son studies day and night aiming at a scholarship, finishes college, gets a job in Dubai and moves to Dubai permanently after getting married.
Five years have gone by...
The son is now a highly settled guy with a wife and 2 kids living in one of the finest villas that Dubai has to offer. One day, the mother decides to check on her son so she decides to fly to Dubai. After reaching his house, his kids get frightened at first to see their grandmother with one eye and her son gets mad again and says "why have you come here?!?! Look what you just did!! You just frightened my kids! I'm living a happy life with my family and I don't need you spoiling it! Now just leave my house and go back go India!"
The mother leaves his home with depression on her face as the son slams the door behind her.
5 months later....
The son gets a call from a friend in India saying that his mother is really sick and that she wants to see him immideatly. He lies to his wife and kids saying that he's going on a business trip to London and flies to India.
By the time he reaches his home in India, he receives news saying that his mother could not make it. Not even a single drop of tear came through his eyes. His friend told him that his mother has left a note for him before he passed away.
He reads the note and it says
"Son, If you're readings this, I just want to let you know that I was really looking forward to your presence and I probably did not make it. I'm really sorry for scaring your kids that other day, and staying close to you with your comfort. I have to now tell you something that I don't think you are aware of.
'23 years ago, you, me and your father were driving to a toy's store to buy you a present for your third birthday. Unfortunately on that day, we have met with an accident where a huge truck came and hit out car. Your dad died on the spot, I came out with minor injuries, and you have lost an eye in that collision. As a mother, I could not bare to see you grow up with one eye. So as we couldn't get you the toy, I gave you my eye as a birthday present so you will not have any problem growing up and that know one will ever harass you or humiliate you of your defect."
After reading the note, the son left the place in tears regretting every single harsh word he has said to his mother and he has also learned that mothers will always think about their children and their comfort no matter how much pain the mother has to bare.
