My Fortune

In my time of need, in a time where I was confused and upset, in a time where I needed somebody, I found only one place to go. I found website, called Oranum, where you could talk to psychics for free. (If you wanted them to tell your future, you had to pay for it, of course.) But you could talk casually with them for comfort, which I think is why most people visited the site. I only visited out of curiosity, but soon it became something more. I had a longing for something, an answer. I wanted an answer to my questions and doubts. I wanted someone to talk to, even if I had no money for them to tell me my fortune. Just to talk to them casually was enough.

I had roamed around the site talking to many different psychics I thought would be interesting to interact with. Soon I found one psychic I absolutely adored. His screen name is agutie10, but his real-life name is Freddy. At first, I just thought he was attractive. But it was more than that. Yes, he was attractive, but there’s more to him than a pretty face.

He turned out to be a very beautiful and spiritual person. I was drawn to him by his warmth and calmness. He made me feel welcome with his smile and eyes. That’s what made him beautiful, physically—his smile and eyes. And his voice was quite soothing, too. It was very mature and smooth and peaceful. Hearing his voice made me feel better about everything.

I had told him these things before (except for the part about being beautiful). I remember when I told him he had a nice smile. He looked right into the camera and smiled at me. I was so thrilled, my heart lit up with joy as I smiled right back, even though he couldn’t see me. Just pure beauty poured out of my computer screen.

Oh but alas, he had a lover, a beautiful Taiwanese woman named Kuan. It was a little heartbreaking to me, but as long as he was happy, I had nothing to be upset about. If he was smiling his beautiful, radiant smile, however that smile come across his face, then all the future was certain to me.
