My imaginary girlfriend (Part-5)

The reality

I heard faint voices, people murmuring about me. Someone called my name, perhaps my mom but couldn't see anyone. Only she was there staring at me as if she was seeing me for the last time, tears flowed down her eyes.

Me: Hey, what happened? You look tensed. Is everything okay? And what are these voices that I hear.

Her: I am sorry Rick, I have to leave. It was lovely to be with you for all these days, now its time to part.

Me: Why? Are you angry at me or something? Tell me, we can fix this, atleast talk about it.

Her: Goodbye rick, hope you have a wonderful life.

Her last words echoed in my ears, mingled with vibrations from sources I couldn't recognize. Suddenly the entire world around me got jumbled up into something horrible which I hardly had the time to recognize. Soon after she left , I opened my eyes to reality.

My mom and dad stood next to my bed. They said something I didn't hear, only heard the doctor say "Its a miracle, the impossible had happened. Its his luck nothing else".

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Events turned and twisted my life, and I was meant to be totally okay with it. They said that I was in a coma for one whole year and that my recovery was one of the rarest case. People usually dont recover when they enter into a serious stage of coma, but for the past few weeks I was responding quite well to medicines, also that my parents were really brave enough and didn't leave everything up to fate.

I did not ask anything, rather did not feel like asking anything. After After one week I was sent home. Nothing had changed, same room, same furniture, the paintings jumbled up in one corner, only one thing was missing. Something that lighted up my day, without which every part of the room looked empty.

No, it didn't take much time for me to accept how things were. It was a dream and she was just a part. Life was getting ready for me and I had to act accordingly.
