Life is complex, aint it?? Similar was the notion prevailing in my mind till a few months back, and then someone came into my life to change it all. No, I'm not talking about my Prince charming, but a four legged creature that came walking to my home and into my life. As I carefully picked it up in my trembling arms, the only thought that crossed my mind was that life exists in the most beautiful and vulnerable forms. It looked at me with gleaming eyes of joy of having found himself a shelter.
The next morning, I was busy googling about the various tips and tricks of training this little marvel of life, or a "Dobermann pup" as they call it. Little did I know that if here I was struggling to learn the basics of training him, he had a perfect chalked out plan to train me. This dawned upon me when I realised that, here I'd trained him to 'sit' and 'walk' along, he had trained me to love and to love unconditionally. This little friend of mine would quickly rush to my feet ebery morning when I woke up and start his daily ritual of licking my feet and my hands with full enthusiasm. Even in days when he would be really ill , his illness never deterred him from performing the ritual. This habit of his always left me pondering about the last time I had greeted my parents with such warmth.
As I'm writing , this little teacher of mine snuggles up beside me with what he thinks is some deadly prey he has foraged from the jungle, but its actually a pair of knotted socks from my brother's closet. His eyes spell pride as he looks down upon his discovery, the pride that is hardly visible in people's eyes today. In the hustle - bustle of life we always fail to be grateful to god for having given us another meal, another day. I wonder if this little teacher of mine knows so much about life , rather about enjoying life , that we the superior species called the 'humans' always fail to understand. I can only conclude that life is but a reflection of your thoughts. The way you percieve things makes all the difference. Life is complex??? Well, life is beautifully simple or simply beautiful.
