My wife is so romantic..

It was a regular night. I almost slept when she came close to me. She snuggled up to me and bit my ears.

“kya baat hai.. mushi mushi” I snuggled her back

“Now someone has to do mushi mushi.. You are no more romantic” she complained

I kissed her forehead, and we both slept. Next morning was just like any other morning. I woke up early but not with the intention to go to the office but to enjoy with her. Her mornings were very busy. Her one leg was in the kitchen and other in the bedroom.she walked in the whole house like a latoo. She gave directions to the maid to work, talked to the driver over the phone and yelled at our son to get ready for the school. On her return from the school, she was amazed to see me sitting on the couch with the newspaper.

“Sirjee!! Office nahi jana” she questioned

“Aaj holiday lai liya hai” I said while I relaxed on the couch

“Kiss khushi mai” she was shocked

“Nothing! To see your romantic side” I pulled her towards me and said

“Romantic womantic kuch nahi.. part timer is on a holiday.. need to work” she scoffed

“Yaar! One day if you don’t do your mopping and dusting toh kuch nahi hoga” I urged

But she didn’t listen to me and went ahead with her dusting routine. She took full two hours to complete the household chores. When she was going for a bath, I hurried towards her with a towel.

“May I join you” I winked at her

“Please.. jab dekho yeh soojta hai.. I have to go the school to pick him up” she shoved me off

She shut the door on my face. Until yesterday, I was not romantic and don’t know mushi mushi. However, I suppressed my disappointment and switched on the TV.

“Tv!! Again! Come on” she yelled

“Toh Kya karu.. If I come near you, you have a problem. If I watch TV you have a problem” I yelled

“Kitna kaam.. kuch help kardo..Get ready and pick sunny from the school” she snapped

I brought my son from the school. She asked the maid to serve the lunch to me and made our little 3-year-old eat the lunch. She didn’t even served the lunch to me. I was getting jealous of my own little one. He gets all the attention, all the love and what about me? After our baby slept she talked with her mom for almost an hour. And the miserable part was when she handed the phone to me to talk to my MIL. Come on Man!! From morning 8 clock to 4 Pm she didn’t even allowed me to kiss her. She was preparing the supper and was constantly taking to the maid when I barged into the conversation

“sweetheart lets go out for coffee. She will take care of Sunny” I smiled and said

“No! I have to prepare for dinner” she snapped

“Okay. Let's go out for a movie and dinner tonite” I insisted

“why! What’s the occasion?” she looked for a reason

“Occasion? As in” I was baffled

“Waise toh you don’t have time and today you want to take me out for movie and dinner” she retorted

“But I am doing it for you. I took a day off to take you out” I yelled

“Did I asked you to take a day off for me” she raised her eyebrows and asked me

“What do you mean by that? I took a day off for you so that we both can enjoy. But your maid, cleaning and cooking… ek din nahi karogi toh kuch hojayega” I was getting annoyed

She left the work and went to the room. she changed her dress and asked the maid to take care of sunny and feed him Khiccdi. I was again shocked but to avoid the fight I quickly got ready, and we both went out.

“kaha jana hai?” I knew I will not get a straight answer but still I asked

“Jaha thume jana ho” she snapped

Without asking much I straight away took her to her favorite shopping mall. Without asking me anything, she entered big bazaar.

“Yaha kyu? Coffee pite hai” I got puzzled and took the basket from her hand

“Want to buy some essential grocery item.” She snatched the basket from my hand

She picked up 8 items in one hour and wasted 30 minutes standing in the queue. I stood in a corner and was playing candy crush. Thank god candy crush was there.

“Cant you help me in shopping? Playing candy crush” she got annoyed

I kept the phone in my pocket, picked up the shopping bags and again asked for a cup of coffee. We both sat in a coffee shop, and I ordered for her coffee. she was not looking at me and I knew what I have to do.

“Sorry” I hold her hand in mine and said

Why did I said sorry? The sorry word itself is bad. She started crying right in the coffee shop and ranted till we finished our coffee. I said nothing and after a while I heard nothing. I simply paid the bill, picked up the stuff and went to the parking area. Everyday every time I don’t want to discuss or listen about maid, family, relatives, baby, Jewellery. I know these things are important, but we are also important. I never ranted about how my boss knocked the hell out of me. I never complained that I sacrifised my football match or Cricket match for your stupid shopping or Saas bahu serial. We reached home. She hugged the baby as if she met him after a month. The maid to served dinner and that was khicdi and dahi as the maid was new, and she doesn’t know how to cook vegetables. No food, no sex, no movie. “isse acha toh mai office mai tha”

At night, she came close to me and said

“Sorry” she snuggled

“Its okay” I rubbed her back and said

She kissed me, but I didn’t show any interest in her. I turned my back and was trying to sleep. She again came close me, kissed my shoulders and said

“So gaye kya”

“Nahi fresh hu.. jag raha hu bolo” I snapped

“Thume kya hogaya hai.. you are not at all romantic” she complained

“Baby you are so romantic that I fail” I kissed on her forehead and I slept.
