Don’t let Hard-faced Reality say to me ‘It’s over’
The sound of wild laughter, the view of beautiful butterflies, the dancing wind on my face all faded away,
As my eyes opened to a new everyday..
I lay there, sad and lost,
I had everything, but at what cost..
I am a self sufficient woman, who could have anything her way,
But, I was a free spirited girl, who loved to smile and play..
I have my own house, where I can live in any way I wish,
But those shared laughters with my roommates are what I miss.
I can buy expensive online gifts for my mother, to show my love in so many ways,
Still she complains! I don’t spend time with her, she says..
This has been my dream all my life,
Then why do I feel it’s not a life...
