From the ancient history, Romans introduced the celebration of starting a new civil year, for the first time adding two more months to the already existed 10 months (March to December) which are January and February, now what does the year start says:
1. The January is derived from the name of Janus. A god of doorways and beginnings who had two faces one looks into the future and another one looking into the past.
