Life is fleeting and ebbs away
Death stands guard and is here to stay
Time ticks by and goes on and on
And every life must end, just like the rising dawn
Raise ye head and dry thine tears
Death deserves not of thine fears
Rejoice in the light the Mother brings
Let go of the dark to which the fool clings
Life is a lie, so sweet and bright
At the end of each day comes forth the night
Death is the truth we all must face
as light the dark doth erase
Go ye now into the night
For ye have had thine fill of light
Blessed be thine holy soul
As you rest, you serve the whole
Fret ye not that thine time is done
Thine battle is now won
Worry not of those in still in the light
Into the night they too will go, when at last the time is right
Asleep at last, thine body stays at rest
Thing soul now travels at thine behest
Into the Night, thine soul doth go
Leaving our hearts so full of woe.....
