You stare at the words, glaring at you from the screen. "Are you okay?", it screams in bold letters. For some reason, you can't comprehend the question nor can come up with an answer. What do you say? The voices inside your head are eating you up. You hate yourself. You feel like ending it all. You regret waking up every morning. Getting up from your bed is a monumental task. Every cell of your body cries for you to go back to sleep and never wake up again. You want to start over again. You wish you wouldn't have to see your own face in the mirror every morning. Your body itches for another pill or another cut. There are days where you fear that opening your mouth would lead to a breakdown.
"Are you okay?", the words are still staring.
"Yes.", you reply.
