‘Why are you crying dear?’, asked Ayesha.
‘I… don’t know… why... I am... crying.... I just… want to… cry’, she said between her sobs.
‘How don’t u know the reason?’, Ayesha fed up with her friend.
‘Just leave me alone… that’s enough for me’, she shouted at her.
Ayesha went from there; left her alone. Ayesha didn’t understand why her friend is crying suddenly without a reason.

She heard some footsteps.
‘I said... leave... me... alone’, she shouted at the top of her voice and threw the duster away.
‘aaaahhhh’
She heard a familiar voice. She turned and looked at him.
‘Am sorry… really sorry… I didn’t see you… I thought…’, words didn’t come out from her. Tears made their way to down on her cheek. She, herself didn’t know, what was happening to her? Why was she behaving like this?
He held her by shoulders. ‘Calm down…. Just relax…’, he said. She heard his soothing words. His voice was so warm but it did nothing to her. She just pushed him away and ran from there.

He found her lying on the floor, unconsciously. He sprinkled some water on her face but no response. He picked her up and went to his home.
‘Who is this girl?’, asked his sister with a suspicious look.
‘Oo.. Don’t look at me like that… she is just my classmate sis… she fainted at the college… Check her’, he said.
‘Nothing to worry… she hadn’t taken her food the whole day… I think she is stressed herself so much… She is sleeping now…’, she said and went to her clinic.

‘Thank god… you woke up…’, he said with a relief.
‘It’s my house… I saw you on the floor in an unconscious state… I don’t know where your home is…’ He explained looking at her confused face.
‘Drink this’, he offered her juice. ‘My sister checked you… she said you didn’t eat anything’, he said.
She drank the juice and said ‘Thank you… I have to go’
‘she also said you are much stressed… you can share with me, if you want’, he said from behind.
She stopped in her tracks and said, ’it’s none of your business’ and walked away.
‘She will never change’, he mumbled.

‘Why are you crying often? Is this your habit?’ he asked, seeing her.
‘Is this your habit to poke your nose into someone’s life’, she snapped back.
‘Not with someone’s, but with loved one’s’, he replied.
She gave an angry glare and sighed, ‘you will never change’ and went.
‘I can say the same to you’, he screamed from behind.

‘Why are u following me wherever I go?’, she asked him with a highly irritated tone.
‘I am not following you… you are the one who walk before me’, he said casually.
‘I don’t have time to waste by arguing with you’, she said.
‘But I have lot of time to love you’, he said in a flirty tone.
‘Not again’, she went.

‘I can’t take it anymore… why the hell are you avoiding me?’, he yelled.
‘I know you love me too but why are you doing this to me…. Can’t you share your pain with me… ’, he shook her by holding her shoulders.
‘I can’t bear you tears… It kills me… tell me dear’, he cupped her face.
She shoo away his hands, ‘You are the reason for all my problems… why don’t u leave from my life?’
‘If this is your wish, I will fulfill it… I won’t come to your life again until you allow me’, he said in a painful tone.

‘What have you done?’Ayesha asked with a disbelief.
‘You heard it right…’, she said.
She felt a hard slap on her cheek.
‘Do you know what you did? You made him go away from you…’, said Ayesha with full anger.
‘I very well know what I did and doing’, she said without any emotion.
‘For god sake, you too love him… can you live without him?’, asked Ayesha.
‘Yes I can… I can live witho…’, she couldn’t complete her words and broke down into tears.
‘I can’t… I can die rather than live without him… but I want to see him happy…. He won’t be happy with me… if anything happens to him then…’ , she hugged her friend tightly.
‘ Why do you think like that dear?’, Ayesha asked with concern.
‘Don’t you know about me…. I am a bad omen… my parents were died when I born… my adopted parents lost their properties… my step sister’s marriage cancelled because of me…. and… and… he also met an accident due to me’, She said a broken voice.
‘Shh… don’t say a word more…. It’s not because of you dear… your parents death was their fate… your adopted father cheated by his own brother… and your step sister’s marriage is cancelled because of her attitude… and that accident was happened because of his careless driving… where are you and your luck come in all these?’, asked Ayesha.
‘Whatever you say but I am the reason’, she said.
‘Just stop this rubbish otherwise I will go and tell him everything’, Ayesha said in a anger filled voice.
‘You can’t do this…’, she said and ran to her room.

‘Are you happy now?’, asked Ayesha sarcastically.
‘Come to the point straight’, She said while arranging the dining table.
‘He is no more’, Ayesha said with a grave tone.
The glass, she held is dropped from her hand and broke into million pieces like her heart.
‘What are you saying? ’, she asked with a disbelief.
‘You heard it right’, Ayesha said plainly.
‘It can’t happen… how can it happen? I saw him yesterday…. He was fit and fine then…’, she started to blabber.
‘Come to reality… I said to him to leave you and you love someone else and hate him’, Ayesha said while shaking her.
*Slap*
‘How could you do this? How could you?’, she yelled at her.
‘I just did it for your well being… I didn’t know he will do something like this… I am sorry… I just came to know that he cut his wrist and..’ ,before Ayesha could complete her sentence, she left from there.

She went to her room and sat on the floor with a loud thud and shouted out with pain in her heart. ‘No… Arjun….. Arjun….. ’
‘I can’t live without you…. You can’t leave me like that…. ’, While saying this, she picked up the knife near to her. Before she would stab herself, something stopped her, the same voice.
‘At last you called me, my waiting is over’, she heard him saying.
There, Arjun gave his trade mark smile to her while tears made their way.
‘What happened? You lost the battle…. I won… Do you know that how long I have been waited for your heart to melt and call me?’, he said while wiping his tears.
‘Now you can’t escape from me... you can’t stop me from loving you….’, he said and moved towards her.
She dropped the knife and went to his embrace.
‘shh… it’s just a drama dear… shhh… don’t cry… I am here only…’, he eased her.
After some time, she untangled herself from him.
‘I know everything about you… from the start’ she looked into his eyes.
He cupped her face, ‘I don’t have belief in these all… I have belief in you… in our love’
‘How can you think like I will leave you… if I left you, that means I di… aaah… Sakthi…. What u did….’, before he would finish his sentence, she bit his hand which was on her cheek.
‘Never ever say that’, she said in a serious tone.
‘Okay, My Jhansi Queen’, he bowed his head.

Arjun knelt down before her and with so much love he asked her, ‘I love you Sakthi…. I love you so much…. Will you be my soul mate?’
‘Yes I will’, her eyes brimmed with tears.
‘Not again… how much tears you have Sakthi? Save some for future also’, he winked at her.
‘You will never change’, she said with shy while hitting him playfully.
‘My love for you will never change’, He said as a promise.
