Each of us has a favorite story or two from childhood one that our parents or grandmothers had to repeat over and over to satisfy our greedy imaginations, one that we never tired of and came to identify with ourselves , fairytales or bed time stories were and still the global image simplified and decoded so it can fit the child naïve mind , they interpret crises of the human condition that are common to all of us , they grunt us passage to a world where the past and the future are divined
“Where good and evil clash ,most of all where goodness , truth and beauty are destined to victory “
They are a sweet incarnation to the individual psyche s struggle to be free of fear and compulsion .
Yet , that does n t change the fact that what we are feed since the childhood is a sweet illusion that shape us in the opposite way of reality in fact when we grow up we neglect to ask is this really our choice ! in the end , how much free we really are ?
High school , university , the majority staring out the window or glancing at the clock anxiously , we see them in beauty parlors , buses , magazines ..and wherever we see them , they are young , anxious, languid , bored , unsatisfied with themselves , and when they are no longer young their boredom has changed to self hatred and their anxiety to depression and they all have one thing in common : they are convinced they are waiting for something . they imagine themselves in a state of readiness , of expectancy , of waiting for life and for their real existence to begin , in fact , it has already begun , it is passing them by while their energies atrophy .
This image begins with the fantasies of a young man or woman about their unborn child , and once the fantasy come true then the mom and the dad have already begun the subtle , behavior modification of their child through sex roles since parents fantasize that their child will be GREAT , will exceed their own capabilities , will magnify them in essence and act and the dream is usually cast in the male gender , the fantasy is that of a HERO and only males who can fit in the mythic patter of the hero . Parents also relate differently to each child , depending on its sex . a father will relate differently to his daughter comparing it with the son , and the same thing goes for the mother , no matter how we keep repeating that there is no stereotypical programming involved , the crucial effect however is that parents tend to relate to the same gender as them .
Ultimately this tendency generate a destructive impact , for the girl it is the beginning of the spell cast on the innocent young female , she will be given dolls , her brother will have cars for toys and will enjoys it more , while boys act as beasts in leach , she needs to act as a frozen princess
Later on and whit the increasing intensity of the cultural milieu and peer pressure will inhibit the little girl , discouraging her from being too assertive or too individualistic , simply she will learn the art of fading into the wallpapers , in the other hand this will shape the boy in the opposite direction , encouraging him to be competitive , aggressive and individualistic and so the boy receive more opportunities for solving the problem and modifying his environment rather than the girl .
In general, boys are given much more exposure to team sports than girls , through team sports they develop a capacity for BONDING and a competitive resilience that is relatively lacking in girls.
The assertiveness and the independence factor in Girls are muted since the beginning without them being aware of it , forgetting about the parents , switching to the schooling years teachers plant the idea that girls are achievers but once they are collegiate arena where they need to demonstrate their independent thinking , then they are at disadvantage because the independent thinking is compounded by the emotional programming that has convinced the the woman consciously or unconsciously that demonstrating such skill is unfeminine , and many girls who exhibit active , creative traits in childhood drop these behaviors during adolescence and assume more feminine interests , then they switch to the tomboy phase which is before puberty , the last eruption of individuated personality then it comes the fall into BEAUTY .
Parents , cultural milieu already made specific roles to each the men and the women since childhood
the female child is destined from her earlier years to learn how to exist for others , although every little girl is endowed with her own motive and psychic force , she is soon equipped with two kind of persona , where she choose one of them or interchange both when she is in the phase of WOMAN
one persona / is that of the desirable object , this role school her the art of cosmetic , allurement , seductive mannerism and the sublimation of straightforward assertion , if she manage her role expertly ,it will leave her with a compulsive need for exclusive adulation and her capacity for developing a healthy self concept and strong peer relations is corrupted for life .
the second persona / is that to live for others , this role school her in self forget , fulness , service and sacrifice in nurturing rather than initiating behaviors above all it will teach her to SLEEP , to wait forever if necessary , for the expected other who will make her life meaningful and fulfilled and in consequences she will give up everything when the expected one comes even the right of creating her own self , whether it is a husband , religion …
everything around the women or the men is well planed program inserted since the beginning of their existence, the industries in western civilization make the programming and trough a constant repetition it becomes a life style .
while watching Tv , reading magazines and so on , I noticed that the majority of articles or series , films …ect advices giving by men to women and the biggest consumers are WOMEN from a simple tv commercials to best book seller , talk shows …I noticed that most women spend half or their life time trying to measure up to someone else formula for the perfect woman , some make a living of it the other some die from !
the need to become perfect but never who we are ! and so the majority is doomed to live outside themselves , vanishing slowly like shadows and once their soul is blown away they leave this world in their state of dissolution , I think woman had no choice , lets go back centuries ago the image of a woman was ported as VIRTUE and VICE , as times moved and revolutions took place her image changes but the image changes because the man already took their role and she had no choice but to fill those gaps , responsibilities and interests that men had abdicated from .
lets go back to my first sentence about fairytales “Where good and evil clash ,most of all where goodness , truth and beauty are destined to victory “
isn t that quite alluring , beauty is destined to be pure and concur it all ! Maybe it is our misinterpretation to it that misleader us to false assumptions
we all know the BEAST AND THE BEATY aren’t we , but as children all what we say is appearances never the meaning and as we grow up we kept focusing only at the frame
let go back to the beast and the beauty and look at it more closely : being locked in the beast castled , the beast fall in love with her and so he given her ultimate power over himself , allowing her to be free , giving her a pearl of necklace but what he truly given her is not just as simple as this , what he given her was her own personal autonomy and empowerment , beauty has come into possession of herself , self acknowledgment , but when beauty betrayed the beast the role inversed she discovered the beast in her and the god in the beast , and so we see that the image ported of beauty is full of flaws beauty is capable of evil but the beauty does n t lay in the frame but in the soul and action , in her betrayal she recognizes her own complicity in evil and transcends it with an act of love because she has accepted the beast in the truth of his ugliness without the illusion of sentiment .
in my environment , it is hard to outstand , a truly male dominating ideas , and so the manifestation and the individuality is usually verbal rather than actionable . most girls are rather dreamers than doers , of course expressing the opinions is easy but once the time comes to afford the price , it is rather silent and deserted . can t blame them the entire system is cracked , the bases are debased, the values , morality and so on not of much significance . and so men continue at being men while women continue interchanging between the two personas , until the awakening comes .
until both of them realize that change began from us , within us .
the global ideology is that" it is a man world " but how much of it is true ?
frames create social reality by directing attention toward the business at hand and away from the irrelevant , what is out of frame does n t exist, this selective attention is useful but the capacity to keep information out of frame can fall prey to a collusion that buys social coziness at the expense of important truths.
who's world is this world , it is not ours to began with , but in the middle of all these thechnologies and philosophies , gender and politics , we defied the origins and named our selves gods the mere ashe that we are ...
