The Partial Me!!

Meeting the Unknown...

It had been an hour she finished reading her book. she kept on sitting by the window staring at the pouring rain and swollen Arabian Sea. Life has been a roller coaster ride, but the city has always been a great support. In these two years since she moved to Mumbai Nandini has never been so happy and energetic to the outer world beyond the four walls of her apartment that she had made her home. It was a huge step then for an ambitious girl to move in with her boyfriend and fall into the category of "Full time Lovers". at first she used to be uncomfortable with the tag given by her friends, she couldn't understand the hype made over moving in together.

'Didi aapke liye phone hai', and there she was interrupted by Kavita her housemaid and a silent companion. She picked up the phone said a 'No' and disconnected. this has become her routine for past four months now, to deny all hangout invitations thrown by her friends to her. in the beginning she had been polite in refusing and sometimes being forcefully abducted to all the socializing parties and gatherings, the reason being the conversations would end up on sympathy and inquiries.

she sighed and thought a quick shower might be the rescue. As the water poured itself on her all she could think about was the rain being poured on the city at first, but few seconds later all she knew was the images of past rushing down. She-Swapnil-House-Romance-Laughter all of a sudden came splashing.

One year ago she and swapnil had moved into this very apartment. A two bedroom flat had fallen into their luck. A small apartment on Church road facing the sea. it was economically convenient for both of them. Providing a space and an apartment to be in together. Suddenly the ugly day when she returned home early came splashing so strong that it drained all her energy that she had been using to build herself strong and emerge back and bring her life on track back again.
