Chapter 3 : My brother trys to kill me
I fell hard on the floor with the strange boy on me '' get off me '' i said in protest , ''did i hurt you brother?''the owner of the voice was familiar to me . '' who are you ? '' i asked the monster . he laughed and said '' don't you remember your brother , whom you killed in the labwrinth '' ''Antaeus '' i said in suprise .'' so you remember my name jackson , i am here for the boy for whom a client of mine is paying me well but i wouldn't mind killing you too brother '' Antaeus said . I looked at the strange boy who was still shaken by the fall , ''if Antaeus wants him then the boy must be important '' i thought . Suddenly Antaeus charged at us but this time i dodged his strike and slashed his leg , when blood came out of his wound the ground near him rose and starting mending his wound due to the power of his mother GAEA [ the earth goddess ] . I didn't wait for it to heal and got hold of the boy's hand and began running . I decided to take him to Chiron '' where are you taking me ? , leave my hand !! '' he protested . '' shut your mouth and run if you want to live '' ''i am not coming with you '' he replied , '' you have to '' i said . I didn't look back and kept running till i got a taxi . The taxi dropped at us long island .'' Are you sure you want me to leave you here '' the taxi driver asked me as we got off '' yes please'' i replied . I paid the taxi and went to the camp with the boy . Everybody at the camp were doing their routine work and nobody bothered to even look at us , as the camp was receiving half bloods from every cornor of the country and the campers were not suprised to see a new recruit. I took the boy to the big house to meet Chiron who was having a meeting with all the cabin leaders . '' hello percy ! , i see you have got a new friend with you ''chiron said as he saw me , '' i am not his friend '' the boy replied . ''hi chiron , i know you might have guessed the situation by now ''i said '' hmm, a little bit , well tell me the whole thing '' he said , as i narrated the whole story he looked more suprised than worried ,'' so who are you ? '' he asked the boy '' my name is Alabaster , i am the son of Hecate '' he replied '' why did you tried to kill me ?'' i asked '' because you defeated the titan king kronos and the olympian gods punished us , the children of for supporting the titans during the war ''he said '' what !!? you are saying that you are trying to kill me because i saved the olympus , it's not my fault that you were on the wrong side during the war '' i replied '' well who would not like to kill you jackson '' said clarisse '' shut up clarisse !, alabastor first of all Kronos was evil and you and your siblings were on the wrong side and secondly i turned down immortality for saving the children of gods '' i said '' ask your siblings from hecate cabin if you dont believe me '' '' he is right alabastor '' said Lou ellen the hecate cabin leader '' if it was not for him we would have been dead by now and would have been left unclamed '' Alabastor looked confused and said that he needed time to see things for himself.
Chapter 4 : Unexpected visitor
Next day i was practising at the arena when Annabeth came running toward me '' chiron told me that antaeus is back, are you ok ? '' Annabeth asked in a worried tone '' i am ok , relax '' i replied . '' chiron told me about alabastor , he told me antaeus was getting paid for killing him '' she said , i told her everything about albastor as we sat on the steps of the big house and saw the campers engaged in their daily chores . The sun was about to set when suddenly the ground shooked violently and we heard an explosion , we ran along with other campers towards the source of the sound and were shocked to see what had happened . Antaeus had emerged right out of a hole from the groung with an army of Dracaene and earthborns . The hole was an old entrance to the Labwrinth which we thought had been destroyed when Daedalus died but somehow it had returned due to which Antaeus entered the camp premises with an army , '' Give me percy jackson and the son of hecate otherwise your puny camp will be destroyed '' Thundered Antaeus .
