Prejudice

They told me to speak up

But when I spoke the truth

They put me in cuffs

And blamed me

For a crime I never committed


Justice is never for the innocent

But rather for the perjurer

The court has made a decision

“A death sentence for the murderer”

An easy judgement for the privileged


It was indeed a trial of the millennia

Between the magician and the audience

And you’re the audience

Fooled to come up on stage

To steal your dignity in front of everyone


A fair judgement is unjust

But prejudice is not

In this flawed system

Anyone can be guilty for crime

And I became one for being good
