The story blog is setup in a place which is sweet, calm, beautiful and serene. its all about a girl named "Betrys" whose.... smart, crazy, loving, freak and most importantly HAPPY!!!
Like every other girl she has a compact yet connected family- her mom, dad and her elder brother. She just wants to enjoy every moment and now its time she shares her life with everyone.

Everything in this world grows from something or the other, nothing just pops out in the world out of nowhere. So,does happiness.... Betrys playfully called as Betty, is as usual still sleeping, even as the clock strikes 1 in the afternoon. She has been a pampered, spoil yet considerate child. Her Mommy has always been very worried about her messy little BET!!! She's average looking, smart, fashionable but not proud.
From her very childhood she has been looked after like delicate EGGS.... having a beautiful and enthusiastic life within it.She's careless about her self but very sensitive towards her family. As an APPLE grows from the EGG cells,so did she.... "The Apple of her Dad's eye". Betty calls her Brother "Aadi". (As it means the first very important person.)
"Bet, getup!!! its 1 in the afternoon your friends are here and you are still cozy in your bed." Betty in her buttery voice replied "Mommy, i had been doing so much of hard work last night- i sorted my entire music collection!!! Please let me sleep".Trying hard, but being unsuccessful, her mum left the room. The laughing & screaming Friends entered the room and in minutes they were onto the bed and poor Betty on the floor. The Sunday fun the college freaks wanted to have was spoiled by her getting up so late, they were all onto her with anger. She got up and went straight to her bathroom as if nothing happened. She was ready in minutes and finally they all decided to enjoy the weekend at her place only.
Suddenly, Aadi entered the room and Aahna sighed. Aadi was tall, slightly dark and a handsome guy, he could catch any girl's attention and HE DID..... Aahna's- Betty's friend and she couldn't take her eyes off him. The rest of her Friends Darsh, Jaina, Innayat and Kevin were busy in making all sort of noises seeing Aahna change her attention from them to Aadi. Aahna's concentration was broken by the food that Bet's mom brought for them and they all again got busy with something.
Strange but True!
Even the Sunday went by... wasted... totally!!! Bet had a assignment pending for almost a week. A Paper Presentation on the current Topic in her Literature Class, "LOVE". This topic was the most irritating topic in Bet's eyes... she some how never understood the concept of love. Love for her.. was only that she had for her family and friends, nobody else.
She ran to Aadi for help.... but... all that he said was, "Grow up Bet! Its just a silly Assignment. Ask your beloved Kevin to help you out." She had something with Kevin that was more than just .... FRIENDSHIP, but never understood, she thought he was a trusty side-kick. She sat back and completed reading the novel "P.S. I Love You" and to your utmost surprise she din't have a single tear in her eyes but only anger. "What the F***? these love stories will drive me crazy.",that was all she could speak. She finally rang up Kavin.
Kevin : So,done with the Papers?
Bet : Done?? I am pissed off! Save ME.
Kevin : What's the big deal Bet? just feel the story... its amazing, believe me. Think of Me :P ;)
Bet : Zip it... It's pathetic dude. Just come home and help me with it, otherwise I am ready for a "F"!!
Kevin : Ok... chill, I'l be there babes. Give me 10 mins.
Bet : See you ... bye.
She was relaxed to see him. They sat together... He started narrating and explaining her the entire plot... It's a beautiful love story of a girl,who lost her husband..... He keeps on speaking and ... Bet .... for the first time.... was just listening without cracking any stupid joke.... into his eyes straight!! Her father was out with some business meeting,as he came home, her mother informed him that his Apple was reading a Love story. He din't want to miss the rare scene and he entered the room... he was so touched to see her daughter silently listening and Kevin narrating, he stepped out without disturbing.
"Finally, Holly learns to live.... and the love that they had.... taught her LIFE! ", as soon as Kevin finished his voice-over she had tears in her eyes.... and a strange feeling! she couldn't understand, what was it! Was it about Kevin or the story?? Kevin hugged her and he could sense that she could feel the depth. Betty just got up, "Kevin... it was really amazing! but now i want you to go.... i want to complete it before the feeling fades away." He did what he was asked to...
She just was thinking about Kevin from the moment he left.... there was something.... Strange but TRUE!! she wanted to get rid of that absurd feeling and left to talk with Aadi....
If its Real
Aadi was relaxing in his room... Daydreaming as always! He was listening to music and just reliving the weekend that he spent with his love... it was like the season of love that came to fore front. Every body was falling in love!!
"Hey... wassup Aadi! I was just missing you", Bet entered with those words. Aadi could easily figure out something was wrong.... seriously wrong!!!! how else can a sister miss her brother when it was only three hours that they dint talk and especially when she was with Kevin. "Do you believe in love?... umm .. obviously you do ... right...that's why you are in a relationship .... I mean.... how do you feel?" She just went on speaking.....can a person you love be your friend? "What happened Bet?????" Aadi finally interrupted so that she could confess what she wanted to.
"I don't know what's going on. I am so confused..... can we be in love? I mean... can this be TRUE or is it just a state of mind?" She was just finding the right words... Aadi was well determined to hear the entire thing from her. He told,"You are talking about you and?????". "Aadi..... you know what I mean!" She replied agitated. " You need to speak for me to know something..." Aadi nagged her.
"I think I love him... the way he cares for me... looks at me... there is something different when we are together. He is so loving, ready for whatever I say! tackles me every time.... ",she wanted to speak but he spoke... "That's what he does Bet, and you? Don't you do same things for him. He just does it intentionally so you notice them, but you! You reciprocate the same feelings unknowingly. Finally, you got a tinge of love understood.... don't ever let it go... if it's true love, don't think you'l find it again." "Do you think I should tell him... what would he say? How would he react? What if he says NO...? What if he's somebody else's? If it does not work out Aadi? How will I handle it....." She was totally confused. "What if he is waiting for this realization to happen to you? go ahead sweets and say it... be ready for the roses or thorns.... its life... but don't miss it IF ITS REAL and worth the risk."Aadi wanted to convince her any how to just say it, he has been with both of them for almost two years and ... he believed it was worth the risk.
She was so happy and excited to share her feelings with Kevin.... she wished to just bang into his house at midnight even, thank God she decided to wait until sunrise.

Early morning,waking up, all that Bet could think of was HIM "KeViN". How should she pour her heart out... she had too though,ANYHOW. All she could think of was to say it,may be after her presentation... but in front of the entire class!!! sounds sick though! The best way out according to her was ending up the paper with something indirect that could pull up some strings in Kevin's mind.
Reaching the University, she was craving to get in the class n JUST SAY IT OUT LOUD.
The heart pumped faster, she started to freeze, it wasn't the paper fear but turmoil in head...She started,
"This was the most dreadful assignment i ever worked upon. LOVE for me was just another disorder that the homo-sapiens could be affected with! Though i still don't understand its resemblance to anything...SOMEHOW IT EXISTS... BUT IT'S STRANGE.
Holly and Gerry were in a different state of mind as they were in love. They fought, cared, loved, nagged, and even hated each other at some point of time... above all they wanted to be near each other...for there ENTIRE lifetime! The story goes about with...

The EYES shout what the lips fear to say...
She could read the eyes... Kevin's eyes had that mutual LOVE, AFFECTION or THE SAME STRANGE FEELING that she experienced.
The paper finished, it hardly mattered what the TEACHER was saying... all was blah, blah and blah for Bet! She just went and HUGGED Kevin, none of them said anything but Just the look in his EYES was comforting and soothing for her...
Smiling all to herself she returned HOME. Aadi was waiting for her, he was dead sure that the sappy li'l girl would have just done something ridiculously kiddish n then be FREAKING proud of it!!!
There was an intentional nonchalant look on his face although but as soon as she entered, she just threw all the stuff she had on his face right away in excitement... he could figure out something happened... something she was really happy about! and she started blurting everything without the need to ask.
"Aadi, he likes me... I'm so so into him now. It's actually REAL, existing ... Happening" and she was outta control. But Aadi exactly knew how to get her to real grounds.
"How did the Paper go, Bet??" Aadi interrupted,and Bet was like... *jaws dropped*.
"ex...cuse me!!! I was saying something...", Bet howled. "Really, I m so sorry I was busy doing important stufffff..." and he burst out laughing. "say , I'm listening" and Bet started all over again, "Everything went as I thought it to be... said those indirect LOVE feelings that I had, and you know the look in his EYES!!! I FELT ON CLOUD NINE... but the only thing that was weird we both dint UTTER A WORD... just kept smiling like maniacs, gazing into each others EYES,reading it and then I hugged him tight... Aadiiii". "You are such a FOOL girl... said nothing... just the eyes and you are going gaga over some EYES say it all HYPOTHESIS... Damn, i knew it,as EXPECTED. but I m HAPPY atleast you are sure of your FEELINGS NOW", he left her pondering... knowing that it was real and they were in love, he wanted her or him to say it ALOUD.
She was baffled. What was happening, she just experienced something that felt so TRUE and exciting but then what Aadi said wasn't even wrong. She rued not saying anything... had she... it would have been sure and concrete. She thought and thought and then feeling glad about doing what she did few hours back,she couldn't help feeling blissful and kept hopping in the house...The thought process continued and she went to the kitchen and got herself Coffee. She kept asking that the innocence in eyes can't be wrong ... or can it? Sipping the Coffee and with her head already full of Kevin's THOUGHT , about things that just took place, she went to the window and a butterfly fluttered the TEACUP-ORCHID... and her eyes glittered! it had been gifted to her by him and considering it a good omen she decides to trust the Kevin's EYES and BELIEVE that...
"The eyes indicate the antiquity of the soul..." and sooner or later she will SAY IT TO before its NOT TOO LATE...
It's a lot like LOVE...
New Morning... but same old love feelings for Kevin. Bet couldn't just come to terms with the fact that things could be this simple, what if it's just friendship and he has someone else. She din't want to ruin what they had. She decided she'll keep things as they are and let them unravel themselves.
She called up Kevin hoping to arrange a meet.
Kevin: heya Bet, wassup? I've been thinking of you ;)
Bet: Really, and what were you thinking mate? :P
Kevin: Wanted to tell you something. I have decided to leave the town and go for some studies outside... Applied for an Institute, lets see how it goes.
Bet: *depressed all of a sudden* owww... when did you think of that? We still have a year left here. How can you leave me... i meant...everything here... and go all of a sudden? *she got choked*
Kevin: Oh My so very intelligent gal, I'l finish the college obviously and leave. Since when did u turn into sucha... DUMB$%^ GIRL. :D
Bet: Dont joke, you are leaving, everything's decided and telling me now? Is everything okay?
Kevin: Hopefully, it will be. There are some issues back home which need to be sorted as well. I wish you could be there with me... even my friend you remember, Kayla, childhood mate, she also called a couple of times, poor gal has been facing to many hardships and I'm not there for her.
Bet: oh... I'm Sorry.
Kevin: What! that's all you have to say? you went silent all of a sudden... you okay?
Bet: just worried about you. Hope everything turns out okay and you dont have to leave, although i dont care but...
Kevin: ah... w..wa.. wait what! You dont care? :D See, I just talked about leaving and your sense of humor has dropped this bad :P
Bet: yep I dont.
*She dint wanted to express everything out and make things even more troublesome for him, so, she let it go*
Kevin: Btw, can i talk to you later, Kayla is calling?
Bet: Sure.
Kevin: Listen up, I'l catch up for Coffee at your place @17:00
Bet: Sure, Tada.
She just dint knew where the good omen went. She was supposed to say it to him, knowing that he will be leaving in an year... she dint had time, time to understand ... moreover she almost just forgot about Kayla. Kevin had talked a lot about her earlier and she knew she was an integral part of his life. Her head began to burst and she just went for a walk. When she returned, her mum knew something troubled the eva-so_chirping Betty. She went and hugged her Mom, she let Bet lye in her lap and just started brushing her hands into Bet's hair.
Mum: What's the matter Love?
Bet: That's the problem mom. IT'S A LOT LIKE LOVE and i dont know what to do... I dont wanna trouble him.
*her mom could figure out she meant stuff with Kevin*
Mum: Sweets, you are strong, I brought you up as a girl strong enough to say what she feels. Where is she gone?
Bet: what if its not for me mum, and for Kayla!!
Mum: Did he say that to you? I suppose NO, then...
Bet: But she is an IMPORTANT part and you know that.
Mum: Everybody has people around them, and they might had been there when u weren't there in his life, that doesn't mean he doesn't want you. You dont want to hurt him and wish for him to be happy, so just let the feelings be free, dont control them. You've still have an year, know what's on his mind and then decide what you want? Don't stop loving coz you are scared it will hurt. you guys will stay close as long as you want it to continue... its no harm if he loves someone else. It'l take time but you'll be fine if it doesn't go your way. My daughter is SMART enough to get ANY GUY SHE DREAMS OFF...
Bet: *she smiled* I m INCREDIBLE mom :P
She finally felt at ease, venting it all out. She felt happy and dint realize it was 17:00...and she dint even shower. Kevin came home and he could figure out she cried. He started all over with teasing her and Betty was there smiling, laughing and hitting him... running all over the house. It all SEEMED HAPPY and NICE...
