As I put my uniform on
I know I will be vulnerable
As I put my white coat on
I know It might transmit
As I put my faceshield on
I know it will not be enough.
The more I wear the protective gears
The more I know that I can be one of them.
Inside the room with a person that's vulnerable too.
But I put a smile behind my mask when I talk to them.
As I saw their smiling eyes.
I sigh in relief.
I am not a doctor nor a nurse.
I am someone that can keep your secrets and fears.
