I don't exactly know where anything began, but I can explain everything from what I remember.
Everything on earth is decaying. The main cities have been overtaken by vegetation and animals, and smaller towns are in ruins. Almost everyone on earth has died. The skies are constantly dark and gloaming. Most of the vegetation from centuries ago has morphed into unrecognizable versions of the original forms. And there are only a few known survivors.
With technology constantly evolving, the world was always in danger. There was no real studies done of the radio waves that were being sent through the air in every direction. No one had any idea what they could do to the human body.
Most humans went all day with cell phones attached to their hips and lived within range of at least three wifi routers. All these different devices that connect to wifi, bluetooth or a cell phone towers send out radio waves. The radio waves, though unseen, were always in contact with the human body. The constant radiation eventually mutated the human race.
Through the years, people became less and less aware of what was being done to them. The people who were constantly in the line of the radio frequencies, especially in large cities such as New York or Paris, began to either die off or slowly mutate. Cancer was the biggest form of death due to the rays.
As people became more and more like zombies, they didn't pay attention to the regular warning signs and reproductions of the constant radio signals. People would rather die than give up their wifi connection for a few days. The people who seemed to stay pretty normal were the ones who lived in smaller towns or were more naturalists.
Being from a small town outside of Philadelphia, that's where my story begins. Not everything may make sense, but that's the world I live in.
Welcome to the year 2385.
Introduction
Let me start off by introducing myself. My name is Veronica.
I'm only seventeen years old but I have had to adapt to the world that is surrounding me. With the planet the way it is, most people who weren't affected by the radio waves have died trying to survive.
Both my parents died when I was
There are no modern day facilities. We have to scavenge or hunt for food. Hunting is not that hard.
