veena just got up from her bed, moved to hall while her father just bought a newspaper , as she is habituated reading newspaper she is looking at it in the same way , but her eyes were red and swollen due to lack of sleep as she had been crying till late night and she only know the reason for it and why she is in such state.
veena is only child for her parents , she don't have many cousins , the cousin she have only is only one , who is 7 years younger than her and they meet only once or twice in an year because of that they are not much attached.
from previous week , she was hearing and watching her friends discussing about "Rakhi festival " and about the fun they used to have and the gifts they are expecting to receive on that particular day , there are many ads, programes and some articles about sister brother relation.
veena is that kind of girl , in whom her mother had incorporated some feelings like " Don't talk too much to boys " ," Don't discuss any personal issues with them ", "Though they are your friends don't go out with them " , it is not that her mother is opposing her but she is showing too much care on her in order not to loose her. with such kind of issues veena completed her schooling , but she maintained a healthy relation with two boys in her whole class , the one is the boy who used to reside beside her house and the other fellow is a good friend to whole class and by the way for her to but now they don't contact frequently , they are now just Facebook friends.
Then after her schooling she joined Intermediate in which she is away from all of her old friends and not even talked to a single boy then later she joined her engineering with the same words in her mind which her mother told her and even many live incidents happened ,which came to her notice regarding the harassment of girls and women .
In B.Tech first year she is in such a situation that she doesn't know at least the name of one guy in her class , she used to recognize them just by looking their ID card , mean while she used to see many in fact all girls and boys being in a very friendly manner towards each other and during that time she mistaken that friendship as love .
2 years passed now she is in her final year , she is bewildered on seeing girls tying Rakhi to their best friends and why she don't have such one . most of the boys do not talk to her because she is not much friendly to them , she have no brother and in fact don't know how to talk , there is no brother like friend to console her but she is tired on watching some beautiful situations.
Then after reading newspaper she realized " persons come to her only at the right movement as she know the value of relation and there will be one person who will take care of her like own sister and stand beside her " , so she started imagining some characters in her mind and even some situations too , and she used to explain her friends as real incidents , as " she have a good friend and he is like her brother , he will be with her in every important issue and so on...
But these all are lies , she know what she is doing and even god know what she is doing and what can be done for her..
