Realities and Reveries

Ever since, I have been creating quotes; the verses from unfinished poems or fragments of my own imaginations. These short word compositions sometimes resemble my realities and reveries of my life. So, I decided to inscribe some of my quote works. I hope you find the meaning behind their lines, the hidden treasures of my words, that might influence you the most. Thank you and enjoy!

"I asked you if you love me but you kissed me fervently. So, I asked again to confirm if you sincerely love me but you just insert your fingers in mine. Now everything is clear: you loved my body, not my soul."

"There are many deceptions in this world.
So, choose to whom you’ll entrust your heart again."

Be a light of hope in this dark, cruel world.
Shine bright, but dazzle no-one.
Enlighten those who have fallen into darkness.

"If I was the biggest mistake in your life, I hope you learned something meaningful from me."

In reality, it is true and gives us the power of control. Whereas, dreams offer us the taste of our imagination, fears, and desires.

"We are adored when we do good but only remembered when we fail."

"For them, we’re like the tip of their nose: they only see us when they focus their sight to us. And sadly, that recognition requires a great deal of attention."

"I’m tired of pretending that everything will be okay."

"She always dreams of free-falling stars to wish upon,
but all she sees are the moon and the steady ones."

Poetry is not a test of knowledge but an expression of wisdom, experience, and emotions.
