Reality and Optimism

You can always keep your hopes high, stay strong and positive, wish for the best and work hard to make dreams come true. I’m usually throwing shades of pure harsh reality that may misinterpreted as pessimism or lack of faith. Yet, I do believe in luck and opportunities. They are rare and very small number of people will be blessed enough to seize them, but you cannot eliminate yourself from the list for missed shots at high-profile goal in the past. There is always a door, a window, a room for change to happen and, in a blink of an eye, your whole life can change. If I should keep my sense of realism, I’d say it won’t happen because you smiled, helped, worked or even prayed. If it is happens, it only did because it was bound to. I do believe in the power of fate, even if it takes the pleasure out of life when unreasonable amount of time is dedicated to trying to figure out how to make it work for our advantage. The truth is, no matter how hard you work, you can never expect your work to pay off. Life does not give grades to the living, but God sure does to the dead – I mean heaven and hell, before you start judging my religious beliefs. I cannot assure you anything in life, and no one will ever be able to. There is no foretelling the future, travelling back and forth in time, rewriting history, avoiding destiny or whatever science fiction movies may have dosed you with. Reality, with optimism, is as follows: dream, work, wish and hope. Your dreams keeps you motivated, your worked should help you take steps towards realizing the dreams, wish (correct use of the verb) will remind that your present shouldn’t be as your past and hope will keep that smile on your face. Sure, hope and faith can be similar. Other than that, remember that your dreams are yours and yours only, every start has an ending, and you are soon to be dead. You can only believe in yourself until the last breath you take in the world of the living and hope you worked hard enough for a pleasant grade in the world of the dead. It is believed that dreams are easy to realize there. It cannot be any more optimistic than that.
