The sea, an everlasting creature, has its immortality
Changes its face impetuously
Brutal it was once, calm the next
Killed a thousand, saved the rest
The sea has life, but no heart in its chest
So unpredictable, yet at times obsequious
So vast is its empire, its ridiculous
Yet with every leap it takes, one thing in its mind it craves
The comforting arms of the shore at last
Be it black or golden or white
A final leap, it makes it fast
Kisses the sand in razzmatazz
But a moment not too soon
The shore sends it back
The sea crawls within
Determination it does not lack
It rises high above the clouds and sky
Comes crashing down with a mighty sigh
But it is always rejected
By the sandy floor
The sea, can never stay
With the shore at bay
It fights against the wind
Longing for that touch
A ballad is incomplete, without a story as such
Never did the sea give up
On a path so dangerous
Yet it seems so obsequious
The love of nature, its ridiculous.
