The Sea and the Sky

Info

I watched the tide rise

I saw the sun sink within

I saw its scarlet shades blend into the blues.

There are sparks

that linger in the cold mist.

And whenever the breeze missed out on the tale;

Passion grew strong like old vine.

And whenever Time closed its eyes,

The sparks warmed the deep-

The cold and forgotten bottoms of the sea.

The sea saw the sky-

And every night when the moon came

to kiss it good night,

The tides rose a bit.

And fell asleep reflecting the dark eyes;

And drifted into a blissful swoon.

Drifting past were silent sails of change.

And the tides found reason only to wait for the sky.

‘Who reflected the other’-

and ‘how they did it’ was a mystery.

But their hearts spoke in incomprehensible tongues

and their eyes exchanged dreams-

To last the end of times.

The sea saw the sky just a breath away.

And yet ever so distant;

And sank every night deeper into the stars.

And the sky breathed a song within a smile

promising to last a life time.

Since I had not read the description first....I thought the waves were problems faced by life....Sun was the passion within us...and in the end life is not complete without having any problem ...!!!

What links Mary Magdalene, Mary and probably each one of us is passion, a desperate craving.

It has always been a mirror telling us apart from the world, showing us the "fairest of them all".
