Life has taken its toll
The colors fading, only lifeless hues stayed
I could see life draining from your eyes
Tears streaked as you held a final breath

Here you are on your usual storm
So calm yet so destructive
A never ending winter on a perfect day
So cold yet so cruel
I could get a frostbite just inches from you
Spring
Birds chirping, animals went out from hiding
Tears filled with joy as she heard a cry
All the pain was worth to see your face
With arms wrapped around you
Like a blanket of love and protection
What a beautiful day to see life coming back
Summer
The summer heat is nothing compared to you
Even on a chilly night you bring me warmth
You've got that sunshine in that beautiful grin
The puzzle piece to complete my day
