For as long as i could remember , i was never allowed to do what i wanted to do , i've always been sort of stranded in my community's culture and traditions , i couldn't go out play soccer with boys as soon as i turned 10 , i couldn't go to my best friends house like i used to do because she has an older brother and i was growing up , i couldn't go to school on my own because i was too young to do so .
For a girl that had big dreams and hopes since the early age , i didn't quite succed in achieveing at least 1/10 of what i was planning to achieve !
I grew in an environment where a woman had more vallue in her own house cooking and taking care of her husband and kids , instead of facing the world on her own , working and following her dreams !
It's true , i'm young , but since i was a kid , i've been thaught that no matter how old you get , no matter how independent you become , people will never stop talking , no matter how hard you try to please your surroundings , it wouldn't have this big effect , you'll still be the girl who moved from her parents house to go live in her own with the intention of doing what she likes in a negative point of view , or the girl who went to the big city to get away from her parents instructions , or the girl who worked in an open space just to meet men .... the point is , you'll never be the girl who broke the rule and followed her dream , you'll never be the girl who chose to build a life that is not based on getting married as soon as you turn sixteen and have kids and settle down with a husband that you might not even know !
