I feel social media is really crazy at times.
While some people claim to 'spread awareness' and 'share their opinions' , some have dragged it into a pathetic mainstream.
Why are we being judged by the number of likes or comments in our posts?
Will your likes or shares save someone across the world from starvation?
Do you really like the person you 'like' ?
Are your 'friends' really your friends?
Has the word 'follower' lost its meaning?
Why are people being arrested for what they post? Is this the 'freedom of speech' we've been offered?
Do you get mad when you check your phone in the morning and have got no notifications whatsoever?
Are you so trapped in this spider web to connect with others that you've been forced to disconnect with your own self?
Do the abstract memes and trolls make you laugh harder than the struggling comedians?
Profiles and accounts are nothing more than masks.
So, what face are YOU hiding?
