Info

Meet Venus, a young girl gifted with beauty and kindness. The daughter of the Earl who died in a terrible car accident. Because of her father's death, her mother committed suicide leaving her behind lonely in this world. The death of her beloved parents cause her to stop speaking and to lock herself in her room all day. The usual smiling Venus just disappeared. Then this boy came, Uranus. He was the one who brighten up Venus' day and turn her tears into laughters. They play tag, eat mocha-flavored ice creams together, they pinched each others face, they make faces and they do mean pranks that made people chased after them. They grew up togehter and became the best of friends. With all the happy things that are happening to Venus, she still refuses to speak. It's like there's a rope that's tied unto her. It prevents her from moving forward and starting a new life.

But happy things don't lasts forever. One cold night., as Uranus was making his usual night rounds. He heard whispers inside Venus' room. Alarmed, he sneaked a peak and saw a group of bandits trying to steal some jewelries of Venus' late mother. He tried to ran but a bandit caught him. They tied him up and planned on what to do with him. Venus, a light sleeper woke up. Her vision is blurry but clear enough to see Uranus on the floor and a bandit with silver knife ready to kill her best friend. On the other hand, Uranus can't do anything but to close his eyes and wait for his death. Then a huge "THUD" surprised him. He can hear the bandits' panicking murmurs and then silently escaping the house. When he opened his eyes, he saw his worst nightmare. Venus is lying weakly on the ground, drenched with her own blood. Uranus cried and Venus hated it. It was her first time to see him cry like that. She hates to see Uranus cry. She hates it especially if it's because of her. She doesn't want to see him like that. She needs to do something. She doesn't have enough strenght to play tag or to eat ice cream or to do mean pranks. Then she remembered, there's one thing that she wasn't able to do to Uranus yet. She pinched his cheek just like they used to do. Uranus forced a smile. Venus smiled back. Then, with all her strength, she whispered.

"Thank you."
