Individual protection measures: For individual protection measures, the face masks are recommended as soon as you get out of your room, even in the common areas. Other than this, several notices are being put on hostel walls recommending washing your hands frequently, wear gloves, and sanitize your hands whenever you touch anything. Disposable bedsheets: Another step that hostels are taking towards ensuring to stop the spread of coronavirus is using disposable bed sheets and covers. After each guest the hostel room, the hostels are disposing off the sheets and thoroughly cleaning up other linens.

Disseminate information through websites and social media: Any information that needs to be given to the guests of the hostels is given through updating it on the website and the social media pages. Hostels are posting all the important notice related to coronavirus directly on their website to assist their visitors.

Other measures: Hostels are carrying out cleaning of all common areas is carried out several times during the day. Disinfection and/or disinfectant soap is made available in all washrooms and in the entrance area. All staff members are also instructed to follow the recommendations given by the WHO and adhere to them strictly.
