Why do we get attached to things or even people so easily
And cry when they slip from our hands so sleazily
We say we are bound by strings of trust and love
But what happens when the strings break
When push comes to shove
And when I build my walls so high
which keep me away from bullshit
People say I ignore their words and say goodbye
They say I'm rude because of my wit

Have you ever felt heartbroken
Has that one thing that you remembered
Make your heart go oh and shattered into bits
Or you feel like you're falling down a rabbit hole
Straight into the pits of sorrow

Hearts that are broken can be rebuilt
But how can the void inside be filled
Will it be filled by isolation and solitude
Or by bitterness and sorrow
Will it be filled by happiness and joy
Or thinking she will come back tomorrow
And so the questioning continues
Whether I am so bad
That u had to destroy
whatever little we had
