Naina

Red, Blue, Yellow, Green

All could see but this beautiful teen,

Her ebony black hair and apple red cheeks ,

Divine beauty and height five feet,

Seated in a rocking chair,

An elderly lady all in white scented the air,

Came right towards the teen, flawlessly,

Taking her soft hand in her rather big ones,

The lady took a stick and gave it to the girl,

" Hmm... Doesn't it smell lovely, my girl. Don't you know what season it is?"

"The birds are singing, the soft flowers are peeping out..

And so are the naughty squirrels quarreling...

How can i mistake it for any other season for spring is here dawdling!"

" So what are you waiting for my child. Lets get out of here, Naina! "

Swiveling her blood red lips into a pleasing smile, she took her mothers hand and set out to the lane.

Smelling and feeling her way they entered the park,

The crispy smell of the wooden bark,

The sweet and sharp smell of mother nature,

Carried her away far and wide in a trance,

She was soon out of her mother's hands,

Soon enough her unconscious legs found a stone to trip on,

She did not wail on falling down but her light blue eyes were flooded with tears,

A firm, unfamiliar hand gently took hers and pulled her to her feet,

A scared but grateful she pulled back to a tree,

The stick in her hand was placed and so were some soothing words,

" Its alright... You are safe with me. I can help you find your guardian. What is your name , may i ask ?"

"Naina..."

" Hold me tight for your hands are frozen and I'll heat you up,

Don't look at me for your glittering sapphires will petrify me

Distract me or I'll encase you in my heart for I'm now loves blind prisoner."

Naina felt her fear sink down and love conquer its place ...
