Marina is 14, ever since she could remember her mom has had to work two jobs because marina birth father was abusive and he tryed to kill her as a baby and her mother.Marinas oldest sister Celeste would have to stay home and watch her while her three other older sisters when to school.When she was 5 one night her and her mother were staying up watching cartoons and snuggling on the couch,slowly falling asleep.her birth father yells at her mother to get to bed,she tells him no,he demands her to come to bed she said no.He goes into the kitchen and grabs a knife,he trys to stab her.Marina mom grabs her and her sisters and runs to her nanny's across the street and calls the cops.a few hours later a nice tall man named Matt come and takes marina and her mom and sisters to his home.years passed marina loved her step father very much.He would teach her about art,morals,how to ride a bike,how to plant a flower,how to write her name he was he idle.She love her step father but around the time she started to call him dad and daddy.He left. After 6 years he took marina and her mother and sisters to their nanny's to stay while he was on a business trip.He calls and says hes leaving,everyone was crying.Marina was to shocked to cry she was panicking,then she got hot,then she started to break out in to hives.Marina needed a breathing machine because of her asthma.This moment...THIS MOMENT in her life is when her life went to hell.ever since then marina has fallen into depression,cut herself, tryed to commit suicide,cryed herself to sleep and her mom started on drugs.The kids at school found out about her mom and all threw middle school was a living hell for her so she moved with her aunt and uncle.Ever since then she has been hurt and damaged.
