* Ting ting ting ting ting ti-* " Julie, Wake up!" I sprung up from my bed and landed on the floor. My legs were tangled in the sheets. I looked up dumbfounded and saw my best friend Jason standing there.
"We have school today, Julie. C'mon get up." I was still having a hard time overcoming my parents death. A tear rolled down my cheek and was wiped off by Jason.
"It's gonna be alright, Julie." I nodded and got up to take a shower. After doing all my morning routine I walk down the stairs. I walk towards the dining table and sit on the chair.
"Where is Lauren and Drew?" I ask Jason, "She's in the shower and Drew he didn't come last night." I just nod and eat my breakfast silently.
Me, Jason, Lauren and Drew live in the same house, and we all are best friends. Lauren was kicked out of her house at age 14, her father used to abuse her, so my mom gave her shelter and welcomed to my house. We became best friends and from then our friendship was strong. Then I met Jason and Drew, they moved to my town after a few days of the 'Lauren incident'. They were our neighbour, they lived alone there, so I and Lauren decided to take a foot forward and be their friends and that's how we ended up being best friends. And as for me, my parents died in a car accident about a month ago, and here we are all in my house working our ass off to pay the bills and etc. But the financial problems no longer exist for us.
*Snap* "Sorry what were you saying?" I look up seeing my 3 best friends standing in front of me staring at me. I raise my brow, and thats when all of them sit down.
"Jules, you have to stop worrying, we all are here." Laura assures me and I just nod again and let it slide.
"C'mon let's go." Drew says and we walk out. Drew sits on his motorbike while Laura and Jason sit in the car. I sit on Drew's bike and he speeds off. "Where were you last night?" I ask him.
"I had to visit my grandma." I just nod, his grandma is in hospital struggling for her life.
