The War Kiss
I had a dream & she was with me
a place where ugly grims gleam
That a stage of war
death, blood, bullets, more
All spit grotesque words
brutal, Wings torn off birds
Hatred, greed & malice
saddled, burdened avarice
In such splatter I saw,
by my side, a child glow
On a bicycle he rode
He smiled like nothing odd
Shaken to the core
I asked don't he know
He smiled yet again
I wondered that he sane
Yet that child kept flow
That child, 13 or so
I followed him for a while
with him, her; I went another mile
shouted out loud, I want to know
tell me your secret and I will go
He stopped at once
Towards a plateau he runs
A girl fair, short and sleak
waiting, smiling like he did
He ran to her she saw too
gazed her eyes said I love you!
They kissed and I felt ache
I thought, I cursed for god sake
When she stood beside
Why troubled was I
She and her beauty
Forgotten because of me
Took her hand I said I do
Eyes gleamed, I love you too
The world came to rest
I saw, she was at her best
May I, I know she said yes
We came close, the world and rest
All in nature, all I say
Aphrodite come to earth may
Yet yours beauty first and true
I keep yours only for, I Love You
Your voice has me moved
Has me utter joy utterly soothed
All I pray be together with you
As I behold for, I love you
Keep me moving, let me hold on
In my own fire, my own lone
now that hope isnt, miracles nor
But a thousand had I loved, a thousand I would more
