Captured Feelings

Ok, this is going to be in form of scraps of short stories (and by short, I will let you know they are REALLY short ones) which just talk of some topics which I felt like writing. Hope you find it cool :)

FREEDOM

She looked into the eyes of that person, which now bore no semblance to the warmth and kindness and security and trust she had known to love and care for. She looked into those icy chips which seemed possessed in their mission to propagate hatred- there was no version of that caring man in him anymore. She mustered her courage as her eyes fell on her tattered form, making her decision.

She didn't regret it as she said "We're over."

THE POWER OF A VOICE

Everyday that girl sang. Plaintive, devastatingly beautiful, haunting melodies flew out of the young girl's mouth day after day. The words felt too mature for so young a soul. But experiences can turn a person's age around. Her songs has no purpose; just a voice which wanted to be heard. Just a voice which would soon drown in the pointless murmurs of the rest of the world, squashing its raw beauty.

PERFECTION

He was a perfectionist and proud. Until his wife walked away, her final note saying 'You're not a perfection to me'. He realized 'perfection' is a matter of perspective and cannot be universal in its acknowledgment.

MUTE

That girl in the corner of the class never speaks, but everyone does. She never judges the others, but the others judge her. No one wanted to know the reason, and no one cared to find out why. Until one day, she saw a rose on her table and a smiling face which held no judgment, just acceptance. That smile was meant to  be loved. And that smile saved her.

FINAL STAND

She had been degraded, judged, sneered at, mercilessly teased and shoved as long as she could remember, till all she heard were those words, and just those words. Yet, everyday she got up. she couldn't help but wonder "Is it my fault to be born fat?' Even the most cruel quietened down the day they heard a scream of agony and a sickening splatter on the ground, as one soul decided to give up a life long fight.

LOVE

The wedding Vows proclaimed that they would love and save each other.

Deep under the pretense, all they wanted was to save themselves from the other. Lack of love makes the live a lack luster one to live in.

MASTERPIECE

All his life, he wanted to paint the masterpiece, his masterpiece. So, everyday, he painted, painted till the life around him waned and his fingers shook as he brushed them over the canvas. When that final stroke of perfection ended, so did his last breath.

Was that painting of the century the eternal masterpiece, or the final smile?
