Is manhood defined by being a macho man?
According to the urban dictionary a macho man is considered as a male person who acts like he is the king of the world. Generally shows a degrading attitude towards women and sensitive men. A strong sense of masculine pride . Also refers to the assumption that masculinity is superior to femininity. A typical stereotype of the sports-loving sports car -driving ultra male that doesn't want to hear anything from anyone about their way of life. Hence ,the so called ‘macho man’ is only an immature lad who ends up making himself look like a fool in front of everyone. Therefore ,we can refer to a macho man as a typical stereotype men of nineteenth century.
Boys appear more manly when they take up responsibility and not just go around wandering like a vagabond. I always look up to a man who is God fearing. Being just God fearing includes all the qualities that one seeks in a man :humble, rich in love, strictly hygiene, hardworking, respects women, handles his responsibilities wisely, doesn’t under estimate any gender, glad when corrected, listens to others opinions, good sense of humor and the most important doesn’t consider crying as a lowly action instead takes it as a Gods gift. Including all these qualities one is accepted and has more friends.This is my definition of manhood.
By this it doesn’t mean that you cannot enjoy the pleasures of the world. Yes you can drive a sports car and also impress your girl with it but be careful not to go to a extend where you end up hurting someone or making a fool out of yourself.
