Its a real life story....
To all those who have had a thought that how would you ever approach a girl you like this might be an eye-opener as things may just go on easily and you wouldn't even expect your life is going in a direction u never imagined. Well its story of a shy guy from a boys school who never had a courage to approach a girl neither had the guts to talk freely to any girl , whose life eventually takes turn when he enters a college not of his choice , with a branch not of his choice. Unexpected number of events make his life come to this National Institute of Technology all alone after a 30 hours long journey.
And so begins the story of this shy guy who accidentally was on the path to find the LOVE of his life. Here comes the very first day when he enters the big hall for the registration process fully confused as people there speak a different language from Hindi and English. He tries to find someone who is speaking in English and Hindi and finally he finds a few people from Andhra Pradesh and meets a guy Shantanu who he had no idea would be a good friend of him and be his first room-mate.
Well its not just the first room-mate he comes across in that big registration hall there is this one girl simply dressed along with her dad maybe as this guy wasn't sure who was accompanying that girl. Well this guy has no idea what's so special about this girl who is the only one whom he can recognise right from the first day and guess what he fell in LOVE with her maybe because of her amazing smile or because of the simple dressing , maybe because of the looks or maybe just like every guy loves every other girl . What kind of love was that this guy had no idea but he was sure that he had the image of this one girl in his mind when he went up to the hostel he was allotted and that's where he realised that he got the same room-mate Shantanu.
Hence , starts the story of this shy guy and a girl whose face he remembers from the first day he entered. Now its the first day of college life and he enters his first theory class and guess what he finds the same girl there in his class. Now the basic thing in his mind comes that somehow he could be friends with that girl but before that he needs to know her name where she is from and many more such questions were running in the mind of this guy. Here comes the destiny part in his life working in his favour and the lectures takes attendance name wise not roll number wise and then he finds out that girl's name is Natasha , and girls branch which was different from his branch so he was a bit disappointed but then again afternoon the practical batches were allotted and to no surprise the destiny again was in this good favour and he and Natasha were both in the same group. As time goes in various labs and classes Arnav could only get his on the Natasha as he was to shy to go forward to start talking or to sit near her and try to be her friend .Things might have been the same way for all 4 years of his college life but the destiny had something else set in Arnav's life.
Everything changed from the workshop where each practical batch was further divided into 4 subgroups performing different arts and once again Arnav and Natasha were in the same group. So as Arnav knew being on the same practical group hardly will improve his chance to talk to Natasha so he tried an approach a bit different from others. There in the workshop everyone had to fill in his/her details like roll number, address, and mobile number and other specifications, so Arnav took a picture of the form which Natasha filled and submitted. And thus started the story of Arnav and Natasha as in the same workshop Natasha asks Arnav to help him in the task allotted. The same evening Arnav got some message balance in his mobile and sent a message to Natasha's cell number saying : -
"Guess who is it, the guy you asked to help you out in the workshop ??"
Arnav had no idea that what will be the next message from his side if Natasha gave no reply and he wasn't even sure that she would reply or not. But destiny had played its cards already and he got the reply saying - "yeah I remember the guy named Arnav but how you got my contact number ?? " Thus started small sort of conversation between the two of them but talking face to face with a girl was still a hurdle which Arnav had to cross somehow to tell the girl he likes her. Well this hurdle wasn't solved just like that but it took considerable amount of time .
Then goes a couple of events of college and Arnav and Natasha start spending good time with each other making a few good friends. As the time is spent Arnav's feeling of likeness changes towards LOVE and he wants to propose Natasha but same problem , he is shy and cant approach a girl directly so as always he starts texting from his mobile to Natasha . Natasha on the other hand had no such love feelings but yes she liked to spend time with Arnav so she directly told Arnav that a proposal must be made in reality in front of her eyes not by messaging on mobile. Many times when they both were together the thought of proposing came to Arnav's mind but he couldn't overcome the fear. Finally came the valentine's day whole day Arnav was wondering what to do how to say but till the evening he couldn't say anything in the evening he was disappointed by himself and had a small fight with Natasha too. Being disappointed Arnav made a sketch on his wall on 14th Feb at Night. It was a heart shaped sketch on the wall of his hostel room. Arnav had made a couple of anime characters previously too but this was a heart for the first time. That night he made a promise to himself that no matter what happens tomorrow he is just going to say it, say all his feelings towards Natasha.
Thus comes the next day, 15th November finally gathering some courage he says it all to Natasha in the evening while they were having a small walk around the campus. Then he was eagerly waiting for the reply but as Natasha had no such great feelings of love she didn't respond to him and he was disappointed. A couple of days went past she gave reply after one week again when Arnav asked her online about her feelings towards him, she said she wasn't sure if it was love or something and secondly she was a resident of that town where the college was located so roaming around the campus or outside would be difficult for her because of he parents and other relatives which work in that town.
Still after many good days spending with each other she agreed over Arnav's proposal but asked him to promise if anyone asks about this RELATIONSHIP he would completely deny, and no doubt Arnav agreed to this deal. Then time went on a couple of more events of college they spent time together, they fought regularly because Arnav told couple of his close friends about his relationship who leaked to a couple more friends and so on the talk about the relationship reached to Natasha from some of her own friends. Fights were also of different kind in this relationship where Arnav didn't speak anything nor did Natasha they just met each other roamed together saying nothing at all and then going back to their respective hostels. But in the end Natasha talks and tries to make Arnav speak up the matter and slowly the matter solved.
As the days passed another incident occurred, Natasha's mom was ill and was at hospital and needed blood immediately as soon as the news about her mom's sickness came to Natasha's ear she asked Arnav to find a guy with that blood-group same as of her mom. Arnav had already told Natasha that he had a fear of hospitals and needles but to be closer to Natasha's family and to make a nice image in-front of them he told that he would give his blood . Next day both went to hospital where Natasha's dad was there and she told Arnav already that infront of dad maintain a distance and talk less to me as dad shouldn't think that there is something between the two of us. Arnav met Natasha's dad very formally neither speaking too much nor being a quite guy , answering to the point anything being asked to him by her dad or by the doctor . He was made to lie in a room and a syringe was put in his right hand to take out his blood. For about initial 90 seconds Arnav was busy playing games in his mobile and wasn't experiencing any pain but after that he got bored of the game and tried to have a look at the amount of blood taken out and suddenly he collapsed. He got unconscious , Natasha's dad came running and a few doctors too and for a couple of minutes no one was able to find out what happened. Natasha was very worried and tears almost rolled down her cheeks as Arnav came for her only. After 2 minutes Arnav came back to his senses and then Natasha's dad asked her to go to him and talk with Arnav for sometime so that he feels good. Then when she entered the room Arnav could see she was very upset and had tears in her eyes that was the first time Arnav realised how much he meant to Natasha and he could feel the love in Natasha's face. After that incident both went on lunch together and that afternoon Arnav was happy for one thing that was he found out Natasha loves him really.
Time was going nice and they both were enjoying each others company and then came the summer holidays where Arnav had to go back to his home and meet his mom, dad which he hadn't met since last 4 months. Natasha due to some medical reasons had to do the summer course for 2 months for a particular subject. As the journey starts something wasn't right in the air from the starting as Arnav got down at some railway platform to drink water and he missed his train and had to face a lot of trouble going back to his home.
And as things were not going better from the summer's starting they both had a lot of fights in the first week itself. They both were far away from each other so fights were not that easy to solve moreover both had to look after their other work too that's why couldn't give each other much amount of time. Meanwhile another thing started, a few friends of Arnav who got failed in few subjects and were there in the college during summer started texting Arnav about a few guys who they found Natasha roaming with in the lectures and outside too. Arnav got a bit insecure and enquired more from other friends too and got the same response.
Simultaneously Natasha's cousin came to know about her RELATIONSHIP with a guy Arnav and he asked her she denied it. Then in college few seniors too asked her about the relationship with Arnav and she denied as she thought they might be his cousin brothers friend, moreover she told them she has another boyfriends Karan. Karan was one of the guys about whom Arnav's friend told him. So this news too came to Arnav's ear and he got more tensed. He was in real trouble about his relationship and was insecure too so he forcefully told Natasha on phone call that you shouldn't have said your relationship about some other guy to those seniors at college but she was also right in her part which Arnav couldn't realise at that moment. In anger and pain Natasha told about her relationship at her home to her Mom and Dad. Mom knew from the beginning and didn't say much but dad got very angry and told her to stay out of the house and since evening till night 11 pm she was sitting out of her own home. On the other side Arnav was tensed in himself hearing about Natasha and Karan from his friends back at college. Then a couple of days passed , in between Arnav and Natasha were completely out of contact. To get in touch with her Arnav called one of his friend at college who then told Natasha that Arnav wants to talk to you. Then when she told Arnav all that had happened because of him , Arnav felt very bad and asked for forgiveness and said don't worry things would be alright but actually it didn't happen. They both started talking less and Arnav wasn't able to figure it out that the incident which happened had changed Natasha's thinking. Soon he started getting more news about Karan and Natasha , as Karan was also a guy or Arnav's hostel so they were some sort of friends he directly asked him about the matter. Then he came to know that in the third week of summer he proposed her and she said yes. That was the moment Arnav's heart was broken and he had no idea what to do so he texted up Natasha to know is that the real case and to his surprise she also said yes she is in relation with Karan. On being asked why didn't she tell him from the beginning she said it was nothing since beginning as they both were just friends but after that incident she was very upset and she felt good spending time with her and slowly started having feelings for Karan. Arnav knew what kind of playboy was Karan and he told her but she refused to believe in it. Arnav asked her many times to give him a second chance and said how can she leave him just like that. Arnav's summer holidays whole went crying at nights thinking about Natasha texting her to come back to him and trying to convince her that when he comes back he could rectify everything. All Arnav wanted was Natasha to stay away from Karan but she refused , on being asked again and again she said I wasn't in love with you Arnav, it was just some feeling I thought as love but actual love I now have realised being with Karan. Hearing this just broke Arnav's heart completely as now he had nothing to say as she simply said she wasn't in love with him ever.
And so passed the painful summers leaving Arnav alone with a shattered heart and on the other hand Natasha and Karan were happy with one another. But the thing was that Arnav wasn't able to forget her neither he wanted to move on in his life all he had in mind that he would prove Natasha that his love wasn't so weak that just 2 months separation could change it. So he didn't try to move on even when Natasha told him to. Something that bothered Arnav was that Natasha still wanted him to be his friend and be with her but Arnav simply said "there can be only one guy in your life as its hard for me to see you loving someone else as I love you a lot" , but Natasha never left Karan. After few days , when college started one night another friend of Arnav , called him to meet and when Arnav went up there he found Natasha had called him to talk with her personally. They were on the back side of the girls hostel standing on side of road under a small tree. She tried to convince him that things can be better if Arnav agrees to be her friend and move on in his life with some other girl but Arnav was speechless. And finally towards the end his tears spoke for him and he just said I would wait for you to come back to me. That's all he said and left wiping off his tears.
A couple of weeks passed by and that's when destiny took another turn which both Arnav and Natasha didn't expect. As Karan was having a low grade he had to repeat 1st year again or had to leave the college and so he just left the Institute. Since then Natasha was lonely and Arnav too but still whenever he asked her about starting together from a new beginning she always avoided as she couldn't agree to leave Karan. Slowly Arnav made her realise that Karan wasn't a good guy himself and maybe due to some problem between Natasha and Karan they finally broke up. But just because Natasha broke-up with Karan she couldn't hook up with Arnav as in the entire Institute people initially laughed on Arnav saying see how a girl left you and then they started teasing Natasha too when Karan had to leave.
Days passed and again they met with some other common friends around they both were sitting together talking about their strange past , like how close they were once that they couldn't stop talking any time and now they are sitting with each other and having no words to say. Talking about past and as Arnav told what all he went through during summer and after that Natasha couldn't control her tears too. That day Arnav thought no need to disturb her again and again because of past. So he decided to once again start with a new day a new friendship and maybe this time the love from her side would be a real one .
And so started the month of November , they both being in 3rd semester of their Institute. Nothing was going well as such because Arnav still had thoughts about Karan and Natasha , moreover Natasha too had CHATS and calls from Karan sometimes. But then started a new problem in Arnav's life. Another guy with whom Arnav's friend saw Natasha talking and roaming with was a guy named Harsh. Arnav knew this guy too from his first year and knew that he wasn't any good too and tried to explain Natasha that he is trying to get close to you so please see to it but she never bothered to care as she thought of him as a friend but on the other side Harsh told all his friends that she was his girlfriend and many more fake stuff. A couple of events passed and fights kept continuing over Harsh and nothing was working as Arnav wanted. And then came December a month of separation again between those two due to winter vacations. They texted each other few times but nothing much. Slowly slowly started the love feeling between Arnav and Natasha once again. And they both planned to visit another college's event for a few days in the weekend but as usual the plan included few of Natasha's friends including Harsh too and Arnav didn't like it. Harsh was kind of a guy who tried to touch her and be close to Natasha all the time and she took it in a light way but things what happened there non of them imagined. While going in train to that college Harsh left no chance to sit with Natasha and whenever Natasha talked and spent time with Arnav he would make a creepy and sad face. Both Arnav and Natasha ignored it but then after sometime Natasha having a soft heart thought why to make someone upset and went to talk to Harsh and then he would become perfectly fine. Arnav knew what Harsh wanted , which was to be in relationship with Natasha and he hated Arnav because Natasha loved to spend time with him. So the first day went just like that and the second day too and while roaming around the state they missed to get down at the desired station and thus pulled chain as train just left the station it was night 11 pm and all friends got off the train and started running towards the station that was the only time all friends were happy and smiling and had fear too as it was their first time except Harsh as it was normal for him.
That was the last day in that other college when both Arnav and Natasha were happy together because next morning was painful. It was 8 in the morning when Natasha called up Arnav to come and meet her alone as other girls were sleeping which were to stay in a separate place and boys in the boys hostel. All of them decided to move out around 9 :30 to see that day events and they were suppose to leave that day at night 10 to their own institute. But since she called Arnav went out to meet her. She had to buy something form the nearby market which she didn't tell Arnav but basically she wanted to spend sometime alone with Arnav as other times it was Harsh and other friends to disturb them and moreover they had a lot of fights too in this travel thus to sort it all out and enjoy some time they met. Somehow Harsh came to know Arnav wasn't in the room and he called Natasha but she didn't pick up. Then he called on Natasha's friends number who was there sleeping in the girls residence. She told Natasha went out at 8 in morning . Then he again called Natasha and asked her where she was she just said " I am in the girls residence with my friends" and she cut the phone. Then by the time both Natasha and Arnav came back to the girls residence to drop Natasha,they found Harsh waiting outside roaming madly to meet Natasha. Arnav wanted to talk to Harsh himself but Natasha considering Harsh as a friend went to talk. Harsh was mad about the thing that she didn't tell her that she went out with Arnav and told lie to her, and was behaving as if she was his girlfriend. In anger he threw his phone on the road hard and that got broken into pieces . As it was morning only few people in the campus saw it. Natasha was completely shocked but still she couldn't just this much to Harsh that its my life I can roam with anyone I like and I am not answerable to you. Arnav felt bad and just said Natasha "see that's what I knew would happen some day if you keep people so close to you". And then they both had a fight and whole day got ruined up they didn't talk to each other at all and towards the beginning of the return journey Arnav said sorry to Natasha to shout at her during the morning when that incident took place.
And they were together all time in the return journey and things went fine after that. Since then Natasha realised friendship is fine but there needs to be a distance need to be maintained from friends too as you never know what's running through the mind of the person you are spending time with . Since then their number of fights reduced . Their love increased and this time it was again Arnav to say her that he loves her online but in reality he wanted her to say it to him. And it happened the next day.
Then started the happy moments in their life with spending time together in college events, roaming with each other in evening after college, etc. Then came their first Valentine's day and they spent more than 24 hours with each other starting with roaming in park together , then having snacks together, then movie , then dinner then spending the whole night roaming here and there in Railway Station and towards the end both ended up sleeping in the waiting hall of the station on each others shoulders.
Life had never been so good for both of them since last summer. And now they are happily together in the 4th sem of their college life. No one knows what destiny has in its mind for their future but one thing was sure this time the love was real so time couldn't make them part easily.
And their love continues.............
