Subject: Self Love

I wish they teach self-love in school. If there was one subject I wouldn't want to miss, it would definitely be about how to love myself.

I want to learn the language of self-love and what words to tell myself when hate is the only thing that comes out of my mouth while I look in the mirror. I want to learn how to communicate with people and be fluent in speaking about how they should treat me right.

I want to learn the formula of self-love and know how to perform the basic operations. I want to learn who among these people I have to add in and subtract from my life. I want to learn how to accurately divide my time and love for myself and for other people. I want to learn how to appreciate the little things that multiply my happiness.

I want to learn the science of self-love and find glory in my own body. I want to learn how to accept that I am already whole despite my imperfections; that there isn't too much or too little of whatever the society sees in me.

And lastly, I want to learn how to fully enjoy my recess time. I want to understand that taking a break from everything does not always means giving up, and that it is also part of self-love.
