The Color RED

A universally contradicted color, Red is perhaps, the ideal illustration of our entire being, maintaining a perfect balance between the positive and negative aspects of life.    

Enter  Red- The Color of BLOOD! 

    The blood which gives us life 

 In return gives us death.. 

    The blood which gives pain to a girl 

 And happiness to a woman! 

Express  Red- The color of FEELINGS! 

   The feeling of love and romance 

With the feelings of hate and rage.. 

   The color of bridal attire & royalty 

Shared by the feelings of separation & communalism! 

Emote  Red- The color of SIGNS! 

   The signs of sound health and safety 

Not to forget, the impending danger and warning.. 

   The celebrated Swastik, 

A sign of respect and reverence for some 

   Yet a symbol of war and doom for others! 

Red, is in its own way, a very ironical color. Among the colors of the spectrum, it is a color that signifies wisdom, energy and vibrancy in every form and nature! 

As Josef Albers rightly said, and I quote- 

' If one says Red- the name of the color- and there are 50 people listening, it can be expected that there will be 50 reds in their minds.  And one can be sure that all these reds will be very different.'
