For it is heaven, Where I come from..
Where I come from, is a land of saints.
but also a rogue land.
Where I come from there are orchards a galore.
Sheltered in the canopies of the pointed firs and towering pines.
Where I come from there are snow peaked mountains.
Flowing alongside are the waves of the rivers and streams, sometimes at peace and at times at war with itself..
Ah! So beautiful a sight to the sore eye!
Where I come from cold winds keep blowing all day long.
Coming to the rescue are the famous pashmina shawls and long pherans.
Where I come from kehwa is brewed.
And dinner is a feast with Dumaloo and Rogonjosh
Where I come from the shikaras bring with them fresh Marigold and Lotus.
Protected by Shankaracharya on the front end and Hazratbal at the back end.
For it is heaven, Where I come from..
