The day we met was the best day I remember
Because by then you became my ember
That time I knew what I wanted to do
I just wanted to be with you
The day went on we got to know each other
I started to like you even better
Fast friends we soon became
And afterwards sparked a flame
Apparently we were a lot alike
Both mature yet somewhat childlike
Equally mischievous and equally fun
To one another we were no longer anyone
The time we spent was soon to be over
But that didn't stop us from getting closer
We decided to meet again after a while
For seeing the other gave one a smile
