So how do you stay happy when everyone and everything around you concentrated on giving you grief?
Pretty simple to say, pretty hard to do. But it needs to be said and hence I will say it.
In this age, we are generally attracted to people who look cool… not the ones who we are comfortable with, and naturally we do prefer to hang out with them… Nothing bad in it… but at the end of everyday do we feel satisfied? NO!!!!!
There is a simple explanation to this.
Whenever you hang out with people whom you are “AWESTRUCK” with but not the ones you connect with ignoring the ones you do connect with, you subconsciously create in your mind a sense of not belonging thus making you a partial introvert in that group of people.
May it be soulfully or emotionally, somewhere in your conscious you are thinking of going home and playing the guitar alone in your room or reading your favourite book. You don’t get involved in the conversations with your heart and soul but just your brain. You don’t talk to them much but instead stay away from them, subconsciously push them away, eventually planting the seed of hatred towards that person in your mind, NATURALLY affecting a change in your behaviour toward them. Once they realise this change, they eventually start hating you.
Now the pretty irritating thing with hatred is that, it does not stay PUTT, it spreads like wildfire. Who does this?
YOU!!
You go tell the people you connect with and say everything bad about that person and he does nothing different and the people you tell spread it like wildfire.
The two of you eventually create an ever growing shall we say “NETWORK OF HATRED”
What started out between you two has consumed the entire world.
“WHAT IS THE POINT??”
The only time this is beneficial is if you want to create WORLD WAR 3
Now getting to the point…
HOW DO YOU STAY HAPPY?
Simple… instead of being with people you’re awestruck of, be with the people your heart is comfortable with.
This will work entirely opposite to the HATRED NETWORK and instead create
THE NETWORK OF HAPPINESS
Find joy in those little conversations you have at the subway. For once keep your cell phone away and look around try to look at the world without filters. It's despicable , but you’ll learn to love it for what it is, the truth, the reality. J
It’s up to you now. Which network do you want to create?
Give it a thought. I guess it’s worth it.
