I was once asked to list the qualities of my ideal man; of someone I want to spend the rest of my life with. As I wrote them one by one, I came to realize that I was also writing who I am and who I'm trying to be. Then it hit me. I don't really need somebody else to love and to love me because I am enough for myself.
You see? We tend to look for a specific person to offer our best self when all along it's ourselves whom we are looking for. My loves, you also deserve the care and kindness you are showing to the people around you. You deserve the selfless and enduring love you are willing to give to someone. You deserve it so much more than anyone else.
