These words are mouthed from the perspective of an infantile tongue
It is always amusing to listen to an outstanding simpleton isn’t it?
In my defense its a desperate attempt to prove
That one and one is one.
I really want to believe that the future turns out different for me
Contrary to what your eyes have seen.
However you are smart enough to not believe the word believe
It does, after all, has a lie in between.
I really wish that I could say we have the same eyes,
but if we did truly,
I’d see past all these lies
And there’d be a lot more that you’d realize.
It pins my conscience to the ground,
To witness the chaos and deafening silence in your head.
We were never cut out to fight the tears that were never coming,
In all honesty, it would’ve helped if there were a few to be shed.
Your life flows along,
For me it has long stood still.
You really do wish me gone,
But I never will…
I guess I remind you too much of who you used to be,
Naive, unappreciative (to say the least), yet happy.
You tried to make the best of the worst side,
But you could never swallow all your foolish pride.
All this while, I see you drown, plagued by constant misery,
As you sink farther into the sea of memories.
Excuse my analytical assault,
We always were bound by syntactic and semantics.
All that I want to say is,
The depth of the word Infinite is best understood by the words itself,
Allow me to use it to portray our potential and prowess.
You won’t know much until you know yourself
and tonight you need my help, remembering yourself.
Amidst everything that was said and understood,
Don’t you dare forget,
We are blessed with a curse.
Sincerely,
Krishna
