We are all hotel rooms
waiting for night travellers
to come and stay.
Many of them would find rest in you,
thank the heavens
for they have found you,
make memories,
share laughters
and moments
and all the stories
of their old hotel rooms.
Some would even cherish you,
care for you,
treat you like their own home,
and would make you feel
they'd never leave you.
You, in return,
would give them the comfort they need,
listen to their stories,
empathize with their pain,
and agony,
and suffering.
You would treasure
the stories,
the moments,
the laughters, and the memories.
Then at that very moment,
you'd look at them.
Thank the moon
for bringing them to you.
You would smile and suddenly,
you'd ask,
"Would this traveller stay, or leave me in the day?"
