The Parting....

He said "I gave you many chances…
And you end up the same each time.
Breaking down my expectations and
Proving me wrong every time.".

I stand quiet without uttering a word
Because I thought he knew his girl !!

Wish he made an effort to clear the misunderstandings,
Wish I could speak something to explain what I went through all the time.
But it was too late and both of us had realized
That our paths were different and our destinies don’t abide.

With the broken heart and a tear in the eye,
I still remember the day where I stood waving him goodbye
As he walked out of my life.
