You've been told, time and again by people, especially close to you that you give off or your writing reflects negativity.
Well, if you would've been like you were when you were a child, you would've blindly believed it and felt dejected.
People notice the negativity, but do you ever question them on how they ignore the growth involved?
Of how you're writing with brutal honesty which has gone missing from within people?
Of how you have a conscience and you choose to honour it in a world where morality is dead to people ?
Does vulnerability account for nothing in a world where people derive strength from pulling someone down ?
If you're baring your heart on paper, for everyone to read and to judge, isn't that courage?
Is courage negative too?
Even the photographs clicked, need darkness to develop. They're the negatives, which lead to something valuable.
What people fail to understand is that when you let out the negativity from within, and become confident enough to admit that you have your darkness, it reduces considerably.
It's believed that with depth, comes darkness. Since when did feeling deeply become wrong?
When you come to terms with your true self, the darkness doesn't harm. It's just there, because it's a part of you.
People do not voluntarily choose to live with or in pain. When they develop coping mechanisms, it's not out of insecurities. It's them trying to overcome.
There's lack of compassion, when such accusations are made. Shouldn't make you stop.
Remember, by writing on issues which are negative, you are not adding your inherent sadness to the world.. you're trying to relieve it of a burden which most can't see.
