Did you even noticed when she was at her lowest? Did you even talk to her? Have you noticed how she lost interest in her hobbies? Even writing? Oh God she lost interest even in writing?!?! How did you even not notice that? She failed her subjects even literature, that's her favorite. You thought she lacks focus but you have no idea how hard she's trying. She stays up all night to study but everything seems so hard to understand, even caffeine wasn't keeping her awake. Her mind is so preoccupied that she plays music to block all her unwanted thoughts and you think that listening to sad songs is all that she's doing. Even by reading her essays in school is so depressing but her teacher thinks it's just a phase.
"She seemed happy" said everyone in school.

But you read some of her poems right? If it has a voice it would be screaming at you. You've seen the scars on her wrist and you thought she was just overreacting. Honestly, all she ever wanted was just someone who's willing to listen that's all.
