3. Now, move to the original location of your company file. The one where QuickBooks stores it, which is usually C:/Users/Public/PublicDocuments/Intuit/QuickBooks/Company Files. Right-click and Paste the file.
4. Go back to QuickBooks Desktop and tap on “Find a Company File.”
5. Hit the Local Drives button and look for your QB company data file.
6. Choose the right file and press Open.
