Things Change Drastically

Freshie: I know I’m a little late.
Senior: Are you here to join the party?
Freshie: No, I’ll just sit here in the corner.
Senior: Where’s your sense of enjoyment?
Freshie: Well I enjoy personal space. Thank you.

There’s a look in your eyes
There’s trouble in your mind
You’re losing faith
You’re not like that

Freshie: Well I am now.
Senior: But why would you change?
Freshie: Well things happen. We just outgrown

Senior: You don’t look happy.
Freshie: You’re wrong. I am happy.
Senior: No. Your face does not project it.
Freshie: Are you kidding?
Senior: No.

Senior: In a few minutes the party will be over. Can you wait?
Freshie: Sure? For what?
Senior: We need to talk. I miss you.
Freshie: Okay… (I answered with curiosity)

(We were sitting in the couch with a hot tea)

Freshie: So what are we going to talk about?
Senior: You.
Freshie: What about me?
Senior: How are you?
Freshie: Good.
Senior: No. How are you? You don’t talk about things with me.
Freshie: Well. I don’t want to bother you.
Senior: Bother? You don’t seem to annoy me if that’s what you mean.

Freshie: Well... As I said things change. I can’t explain it.
Senior: We’re best friends aren’t we? Or did you found someone else to replace me?
Freshie: No no. Yes we are still best friends. But talking some things with you seems to be not that important. It doesn’t make sense.
Senior: Oh? Why did you say that?

Freshie: Well. It’s hard for me that you’ll carry the burden.
Senior: Burden? What are you talking about? Well that annoys me a little bit.
Freshie: Well your life is great. Mine’s not.
Senior: Great? Are you sure?

Senior: I was troubled too. And still troubled now but I know we can surpass this.
Freshie: Yes I agree we can make it.
Senior: We actually did. We have survived last year and this year.
Freshie: And this year is almost over and here I am.
Senior: Standing firm.
Freshie: Thanks.

This year you have been lazy
I want you to change that,
I don’t like your attitude
Please don’t let the next year ruin you

But I am so happy you got closer to God
Keep it up girly
So happy that your works/stories were notice
I'm so proud of you

You were able to work again
I'm so happy and proud of you

I hope you get the courage to stand in what you believe
You have so much potential
Don’t waste it
Believe more in yourself

Be more patient.
Be more kind.
Be more understanding.
Be more confident.

Thank you 2017 for acknowledging my strengths and weaknesses. I wouldn’t be able to accomplish things if you haven’t shaped me. I wouldn’t be able to do things. I am grateful that I have survived last year. Thank you for the inspiration you have given to me.

I thank the Lord for this year 2018, it taught me things like to be fearless and not to control things that are unpredictable. To let God do His work.

I know that STRUGGLES are REAL but GOD is more REAL.
