time is a good storyteller.

Info

time is a good storyteller.

everyone and everything that exists has a story to tell, here's mine;

it (time is a good storyteller.) revolves around my trip to the Himalayas and how i felt after coming back to the mundane lives we live each day.

hope you find it worth your time.

PART:i.

wave in the ocean.

this piece was composed prior my trip to the Himalayas; after having researched about it, i wanted to compose my interpretation of everything ii painted a picture of lush ambiance, thumping heartbeats, and surreal landscapes. what did you see when you heard this piece?

i painted a picture of lush ambiance, thumping heartbeats, and surreal landscapes. what did you see when you heard this piece?

you are something the whole universe is doing, in the same way, that a wave is something that the whole ocean is doing.

.

PART:ii.

the real you.

this too was composed prior my trip to the Himalayas; i wanted to compose a piece which reflected how i would probably feel while trekking through the lush green meadows, beautiful snowcapped mountains, my first encounter with snow, and climbing all the way up to 15, 750 feet.

the real you is not a puppet that life pushes around. the real, deep down you is the whole universe.

.

PART:iii.

here & now.

this piece was composed after my trip to the Himalayas; i wanted to capture the essence of how serene, peaceful and calm i felt, being free from cluttered thoughts & complexity, being one with nature and being at peace with myself.

it sums up the way i felt while being up there and the conclusion to the three pieces dedicated to this trip of mine.

i was inspired by Helios (Keith Kenniff) as well as Porter Robinson's "Sea of Voices" and felt that it would evoke the feeling of what i wanted to convey to the listener.

what you do is what the whole universe is doing at the place you call here and now.

.

PART:toska.

/ˈtō-skə/

a sensation of great spiritual anguish.

this piece revolves around how i felt upon returning to the mundane lives we live each day. it reflects my state of being discontent with having to come back to an environment that i can't relate to anymore, my deepest desire to be with people in whom i found a family, the adrenaline rush i felt while trekking through the mountains and having found beauty in unpredictability.

there's so much more than our ever so complex worlds we've yet to discover, and more importantly, there's so much more to discover within ourselves.

Who are we? We say we're individuals, each with their own identity and piece of mind. But do we?
