To Anyone Who's Going Through A Lot

To anyone who's going through a lot, it's okay. It's alright. It will pass 'cause it's meant to pass. I know it's never been easy. It's freakin' hard and I'm terribly sorry you had to endure everything all at once. But I hope you'd know that it's okay to feel broken though it feels like you always are—and never felt whole. I hope you'd know that it's not a loss when people leave even if it seems like you're always left behind. Dear, just know that new ones will inevitably take their place. It's rare but still, I hope you'd know that there are "some" that stay and never leave despite any circumstances—don't try pushing them away in fear that at some point they'll leave just like what others did.

I hope you'd know that it's never a mistake rendering that resignation to chase your passion and the craft that makes you genuinely happy. At the end of the day, the things that make us elated are the things that make us who we are. It's never too late to start your career. Never apologize for starting again. To anyone who's conquering this battle called adulting, I hope you'd know that you're doing great. You're great. You've been through a lot and look how far you've gone. Just keep trying, just keep working on yourself—for yourself, for your family, for those people who need you more than you need them. You'll be fine. You're stronger than what you think, you're more robust than the problems that tower over you—and the world needs someone as dependable as you.

To anyone who's fighting for a marriage not to fall apart, an engagement, or any relationship where you've invested so much time and effort, I hope you'd know that sometimes it's alright to give up, there's nothing wrong in letting go, especially if you have held on that long. Sometimes things just don't work out, and sometimes the end is not an always an ending—there's more to life and what matters is that it happened. I know it's withering to deal with rejections, with lies, with betrayals, with infidelity, with anything that makes two people crumbled—but it's through the most excruciating experiences that we learn the most valuable lessons in life.

To anyone who patiently waits for a loved one, for someone far away, for a dear one who might be gone forever—I salute you. There's beauty in patience. And not everyone is willing to wait and can endure that longing. It requires bestest effort, and you're best at it. To anyone whose heart is bigger than any mistakes, you're a keeper. I appreciate your pure and forgiving heart. You're one of a kind. To anyone who's healing and almost mended, it's fine, you'll be alright. I feel you. We feel you. We all undergo that same process—and at one point we all have undergone that phase of feeling lost.

I hope you'd know that it's okay to feel shattered but it's always our choice to stay that way. I know you can do it. You'll get through it. In time. Over time. It's a matter of how steadfast you are in your faith. It's cliché but keep going. Again, keep going. Everything will pass like it always does. I know. I've been there. We've been there. It may sound idealistic and plain but I hope this simple "It's okay, you can do this" spoke volumes to your heart. I hope you'd know that somewhere in between this journey, we're all the same. You're not alone.

Much love,

KB ♡
